Topic 1: My Favourite Food
Pulut Mangga

My favourite food is called "Pulut Mangga" or known as mango sticky rice. The origin of "Pulut Mangga" is from Thailand. It is Thailand dessert known as "khao niaow ma muang" made with glutinous rice, fresh mango and coconut milk. "Khao Niow" means glutinous sticky rice while "Ma Muang" means mango. "Pulut Mangga" is a traditional Thailand dessert that is famous during summer. The mango is sliced and placed on plate with sticky rice and then served with the coconut milk. The reason that I like it is because I really love mangoes and dessert! "Pulut Mangga" is two of my favourite things combined into one dish. I really love to eat sweet things. My favourite place to eat "Pulut Mangga" is at a Thai restaurant called "Frame Thai" formerly known as "Lai Thai Market" at Section 17, Bangsar. It is a bit pricey compared to other normal restaurant but the quality and taste of the food is sure comparable. If you have a sweet tooth like me, I sure would recommend you to try this dessert and I bet you'll like it.

Topic 1 : My Favourite Food

                                                                    Nasi Beriani

I love "Nasi Beriani" so much. Biryani or locally known as "Nasi Beriani" , has southern Indian origins but has been adapted to Malaysian tastes and it now a popular local dish. The rice used is Basmati Rice with an added mixture of spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, coriander, ginger, and also saffron ;just to name a few. It is a vegetable dish but is commonly served with meat like chicken, beef and mutton.
"Restoran Kapitan" in Georgetown is famous for their "Nasi Beriani" served in clay-pot. There are a variety of meat available there but truly my favourite is the Lamb Beriani. The Lamb is tender succulent and the rice is fragrant and flavourful. Add some curry on top of it for some extra umphhh! The price for Lamb Beriani is not too expensive and affordable for me.
I recommend you guys to go and try the taste of "Nasi Beriani" in clay-pot at "Restoran Kapitan" because I am sure you will be satisfied with the taste!
