“Nail It” Creative Photography by Vlad Artazov

I think there is an inverse relationship between most store-bought toys and the development of imagination.   No offense to American Girl, but it is surprising how creative a child can be when simply provided an old refrigerator box.  Whole worlds can unfold.  This is the same reason we build sand castles.  My son used to set up battles between pieces of  Captain Crunch and Lucky Charms (I guess even he knew it wasn’t fit to eat). Deep in our collective psyche is the impulse to anthropomorphize objects.

Artist, Vlad Artazov creates brilliant vignettes using nails and screws which he then photographs.   Pass this post along to someone who needs a giggle today.

  1. Hey Betsy,
Check out livaspenart to see Olivia Daane’s (Whitney’s little sister) artwork and exhibiting artists in her studio in Aspen. I think you might enjoy it:) Kathryn
