BIO: Ha Ji Won is an award-winning South Korean actress known for taking on physically demanding roles. Born on June 28, 1978, as Jeon Hae Rim, she was first scouted by an agency when she was a senior in high school and is considered one of the most sought-after actresses working today. Ha Ji Won made her acting debut in the 1996 television drama “Adults Don’t Know” and subsequently received many acting accolades for her roles in film and television. She is best known for her roles in the films “Sex Is Zero” (2002), “Return of Iljimae” (2007) and “Sector 7” (2011), as well as the television dramas “Damo” (2003), “Hwang Jini” (2006), “Secret Garden” (2010), “The King 2 Hearts” (2012), “Empress Ki” (2013) and “The Time I’ve Loved You, 7000 Days” (2015).
FUN FACT: Although she focuses on acting, Ha Ji Won has been known to sing from time-to-time. In fact she released a digital single called “Now In This Place” in June 2014.
