Good Morning. How has your week been so far? Today, I am going to take you to a really nice sushi restaurant to eat. Sushi Zanmai is one of the best sushi restaurants here in Miri City. This restaurant is located in the new business district of Miri.
So what have we here?
A plate of sashimi salmon.
This is one of the best dishes to have at any sushi restaurant. Salmon wrapped around sushi rice and a piece of lettuce in the middle.

The entrance has that Japanese theme. Then as you walk in the door, there are many cubicles. It has been a long time since we last came here.
The best seat in the restaurant
I manage to get the seat that was next to the chef. The kitchen view. I had some fun peeking into the area where everyone was busy making food. In particular, Sushi.
My wife and I got a seat.
Usually, I ask my wife to do the ordering. So we can just enjoy eating instead of deciding constantly what we were to have.
The Menu

Got ourselves green tea.
A great way to enjoy sushi with a cup of green tea. Something in Japanese tradition. Usually, we don't order any drink. My favourite drink is not on the menu: Coffee.
Chuka Idako
Baby Octopus. Slightly sweet and chewy.
Salmon Sashimi
This is what we usually order. Chopsticks ready. Eat.
Salmon mayo
These are a definite must have. The mayo adds this creamy texture.
Fried oysters
Deep fried oysters. Crunchy. A must have at any sushi restaurant.
Soft shell crabs
A must have at any sushi restaurant. The shells of the crab are usually quite soft. Then you dipped this into soy sauce and enjoy.
My wife ordered one for each of us.
Usually, I don't take photos of what it looks like after we finish eating. Today, I am posting that.
This is the photo that I usually seldom take. I was thinking, "why not?". So this was what we did.
So we went to pay.
The manager in charge is handsome. He has been in charge of this restaurant for a while. A couple of years ago when this sushi joint opened, he was already here.
