THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE Star Oliver Jackson-Cohen Will Star in Universal's THE INVISIBLE MAN

Universal Pictures and director Leigh Whannell have found their Invisible Man. They’ve cast The Haunting of Hill House star Oliver Jackson-Cohen in the lead role of the upcoming new imagining of The Invisible Man.

This is a great choice for the role and he will join the previously cast Elisabeth Moss, Aldis Hodge, Harriet Dyer and Storm Reid. According to Deadline, the filmmakers were wowed by Jackson-Cohen’s turn as Luke Crain in The Haunting of Hill House and they wanted to get him on board for this movie.

The film is based upon the 1933 movie and H.G. Wells’ novel and this story follows Cecilia (Moss), who receives the news of her abusive ex-boyfriend’s suicide. She begins to re-build her life for the better, but her sense of reality is put into question when she begins to suspect her deceased lover is not actually dead.

Jackson-Cohen will obviously be playing the abusive ex-boyfriend. The film is set to begin filming next month in Australia.

What do you think about Jackson-Cohen taking on the title role of the film?
