While the actress has been making back-to-back revelations, did you know the actress once sued her father for Rs 12 crore? Her father guided her in life and was also her manager back in the day. The father-daughter duo shared a cordial bond with each other. However, things went wrong after 2004, when they got into a legal battle. It was reported that Ameesha alleged that her father mismanaged her money. The actress accused him of mishandling her funds and misusing her assets worth Rs 12 crore. Hence, she took her father to court and asked him to pay her back.
At that time, she told the Hindustan Times, "Why should I feel ashamed?" She added that her money belongs to no one but herself, not even her parents. She told HT, "In fact, my grandmother is supporting me. My parents have fooled her too."
Meanwhile, the actress is currently enjoying the success of Gadar 2. The film has crossed Rs 500 crore at the box office.
