With his professional attitude and commitment to deliver, industrialist Farhan Azmi believes it is time to quit talking and begin doing.

From real estate to education and staffing to fisheries, Farhan Azmi has made a name for himself across diverse fields. His professional attitude has gained him the reputation of being ‘Mr Commitment’ and getting the job done on time.

The winner of the Times Power Men Awards held last week, Azmi has also been featured as a ‘Young Entrepreneur’ by CNBC, has been a part of the cover story by The Week, Silicon India and Business World magazines, and been showcased in The Times of India as a ‘Young Achiever.’ His mantra for a successful life, Azmi says, is understanding that success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts. And the only way to get on that road to success is to quit talking and begin doing.

As the founding partner of Futurz and serving as the company’s executive chairman and managing director, Azmi is most actively involved in his staffing business. A pioneer in the staffing industry, Futurz started as an idea during the trying recession in 2008.

Azmi has built a strong career through team leadership, business management and overall strategic management to take Futurz to the top. In his 10 plus years in the business, he has contributed immensely towards the evolution of the sector domestically. And he has no plans to stop. Azmi is now attacking the global recruitment and staffing markets, with international offices already incorporated in the UK, Dubai and the Philippines, and blueprints to expand further. With a turnover of over $40 million, a growth rate of 300 per cent YoY and a vision to be listed on Indian stock exchanges by 2025, Futurz, under Azmi’s leadership, is ditching the stairs and taking the elevator to continued success.

Before starting Futurz in 2008, Farhan worked in the financial and BPO industry, building a track record of developing rewarding relationships across a diverse set of industries. At Futurz, he has been instrumental in the company’s success, propelling it from an initial team of three employees to a 250-employee strong organisation with more than 15,000 associates on its payroll. And it’s not just business for Azmi. As a responsible citizen, he ensures that he also gives back to society, especially underprivileged children. He regularly sponsors education and clothing for low-income group kids.
