Lee Min-ho
Actor Lee Min-ho won the Best Asian Actor award at the 2013 Baidu Feidian Awards ceremony in Beijing, China, Sunday.

Clips from dramas in which Lee starred, including "Boys over Flowers," "City Hunter" and "The Heirs" were screened at the event. Chinese media have lauded Lee for his easy-going and humble attitude.

Lee rose to fame starring in "Boys over Flowers" (2009) as the leader of a gang of rich and good-looking high-school boys. His role, in which he sported a curly hairdo and luxurious fur coat, was parodied by many entertainers.

Since his debut in 2006, Lee has emerged as a hallyu (Korean wave) star, and his recent appearance in "The Heirs' opposite Park Shin-hye has ramped up his popularity in China.

Lee and Park have been nominated for the Best Couple Award at the SBS Drama Awards, which will air on Dec. 31.
