Hanson T. Lee MD

Dr Hanson Lee is a very professional and knowledgeable stomach doctor. I had a few colonoscopy and EDG procedures with him for the last ten years. He is very patient and understanding and thorough doctor. Also, the office manager Vivian is a very dedicated administrator in the office. She is polite and friendly and familiar with the medical insurance process.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lee for many years now. He is an excellent doctor, caring, and very knowledgeable in his field of expertise. I love that he listens intently, thoroughly assesses the problem, and comes up with a comfortable treatment. He is highly recommended.

The office staff here is extremely rude! I was called to accept a $20 copay (before my appointment) when my insurance charges all patients $10. When I tried to explain to the woman that I have 5 doctors and know specialists copays are the same she got very snarky and said "okay okay you pay $10." This is not a barter system it's a doctors office and that was very unprofessional! Then she lied and said I was called 5 times and didn't return calls yet I have zero messages on my home or cell phones. I would not recommend this doctor as his office is very unprofessional and shady!!!!

I recently had a colonoscopy screening performed by Dr. Hanson T. Lee who is very thorough and detail oriented about it. He is very passionate about what he does and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. The screening was painless and very successful. Vivian and Dr. Lee went beyond the extra miles to help me to solve the issues after the test. I am very grateful to have such a Fivestar team! I will definitely recommend Dr. Lee for the screening to all my eligible family member and friends.

This review is for my appointment with this doctor in last year, one hour long wait times, impatient with my conversation rushed the entire appointment and he told me that other patients are still waiting without letting my talk. Rude lady who works at front desk, tried to ask their accepted insurance, she got super crazy on me with yelling " medical group is like your grandfather! Network is your father! " this doctor didn't talk anything about my procedure results after my egd. Called his office to make follow up appointment, no one picked up my phone. But glad I left this incompetent doctor

I made appointment with Dr Lee on April 16, 4:45pm. I arrived at office at 4:30 asked a gentleman if I could go into the office to wait, he replied "no" and said I had to wait outside of the office.
At 4:55 I knocked the door asked if I could go in to wait, by then the gentleman replied to me "the doctor is not in today", that made me so bothersome that since you knew the doctor was not in, why at first place you asked me to wait outside then the time came, you told me the doctor was not in.
Know that I'm a handicapped elder woman, for doctors appointment I had to arrange the caregiver to give me a ride, for one appointment would take me at least two and half hours, I had high expectation to see Dr Lee to treat my illness, but all went futile due to unprofessional office arrangement or whatever the reasons. I'm very unhappy with this office. I'll ask my pcp to recommend another doctor for me.

I've been coming to Dr. Lee since 4/2017 and each time I come in, I leave satisfied. Dr. Lee has the greatest personality of any doctors I have ever had in my life. I never feel rushed. He is absolutely respectful and attentive. He is truly empathetic and genuinely tries to help you with your problem unlike a lot of most doctors I've experienced I feel like it's always a tug a war in getting the help that you want, getting the medications that you need. Dr. Lee is not like that.

Two months for an appt after referral from primary care. Waiting room was dingy, dirty and dilapidated. Bathroom was dirty. Dr Hanson was not rude or unkind but simply disinterested in the malady. Explained away the irregular CT scan as "probably wrong, the radiologists are always saying things like abnormal, but now that you told me about it, I'm going to have to follow up on it"??? So there's that. Office staff abrupt and ungracious. We can do better than this.

Dr Lee Hansen is a wonderful GI Specialist. My mother is in very good care with him as well as my sister. He is very personable and so compassionate. My mother has gone to quite a bit GI Specialists and have not helped her. Dr Hansen is a very caring doctor and has helped my mother with her stomach issues. You will be in good hands with Dr. Hansen and will not regret being under his care. I highly recommend Dr Lee Hansen.

Doctor Hanson is thorough, kind and very personable. His staff is courteous and funny.
