Anime Crush: Ronald Knox

Ronald Knox is a fictional character of the manga and anime series Kuroshitsuji or Black Butler. He is a grim reaper working Retrieval Division of the Grim Reaper Dispatch. His base of operation is London and his Death Scythe is and freaking lawnmower… I mean come on, Grell have a cool chainsaw ( when he can keep it) and Undertaker have a totally awesome original Death Scythe, but Ronald have a lawnmower, probably cause it’s the fastest tool to do his job.

We don’t see him a lot in the beginning, his first anime appearance is in the episode 9 of the second season of Black Butler, then we see him again in the third season beside Will T. Spear an other grim reaper collecting the soul of the Baron Kelvin‘s manor. The first arc where he finally make a major contribution is not in the anime, but in the manga with the Luxury Liner Arc, so we will see him more in the upcoming Black Butler movie, Book of Atlantic, set to be release somewhere in 2017 (I think it’s February)

I really like Ronald carefree and lazy attitude, even if I can’t relate to him at all. the guy is always (or almost) late at work, and I would rather died than be late. And the fact that he is a cutie probably help a lot. He is a ladies man and like to flirt and party a lot. He doesn’t like to work over time. Now that I think about it, he is the perfect opposite of me.
