The Biggest, Baddest, Boldest subwoofer…ever…AGAIN….!!!!

For many years, Mtx kept a foot on the nerves of all woofer manufacturer with a 22 inch woofer popularly called as Jackhammer. With mind boggling specification of 6000w rms, 12000 peak music power along with a height of 23 inches. where the magnet’s weight only is about 900 ounce (25,5 Kg!) and whose material is strontium ferrite This was a monster indeed.

This woofer was made for those who wanted to make their presence even without reaching the venue.

What you need to run this sweet baby?

8500w of power from 5 amplifiers along with 6 capacitors, 3 lead car batteries and cables capable of carrying such current to the subwoofer.

Mtx prefers calling it a superwoofer rather than sub woofer. However there is a twist in the tale, according to many SPL the sound it makes can be easily produced by using a combination of 2 or 3  15-inches woofer which is highly cost effective and more practical.

So the story doesnt end here, we were like there cant be any woofer which is more meaner than that, but the mad scientist at Mtx proved us wrong all over again. You thought 22inch is huge, think again. Even after tons of criticism, Mtx came out with a 24 inch square subwoofer which crossed all its boundaries.

MTX JACKHAMMER 24..!!!!!

Mtx Jackhammer 24 bagged itself a patent of being Square Subwoofer of such size. It weighed 185 kg.

Criticism – Impractical, very costly.
