Hello, Precious!
If you’re not aiming for the bonus items in Rayvis’ Birthday Kiss by buying both sets:
which are separate from his birthday story event, you may wish to save money by not purchasing the Classic Celebration set:
The stories included in that set are short, neither has a title card, and the information can be gleaned from the birthday event, which is free.
It’s one of those sets where you’re really buying it for the avatar items it comes with, and the story is a nice bonus. In contrast, the Elegant Celebration set comes with a longer story, a mini story, premium attire and a CG.
I’ve talked briefly about my thoughts on Rayvis here and here, and Rayvis bulldozed his way into my harem’s top tier almost immediately.
Rayvis knows what he wants and how to get it, but he’s also got a good amount of charm without the over-confident jerkiness that sometimes accompanies a trait like that. Because Rayvis is a stoic character, the times where he’s boyishly innocent are that much cuter.
Rayvis wears a lot of hats as a character who is touchy-feely but respectful and gentle, stand-offish but desiring human connection, aloof but quick to accept his own short-comings and properly apologize, romantically and sexually direct but not pushy, hard-working but always wants the princess to take a break and relax, etc.
I haven’t seen a Rayvis story yet that I didn’t find satisfying, and if you like no-nonsense characters who are adaptable, earnest, straight-forward and hard-working, then Rayvis is for you.
Apparently Rayvis likes a little bit of pain, like DtL’s Haru does:
The actual story says “arms,” but the sentiment expressed by both Rayvis and Princess is the same (Rayvis wants it, but Princess says that she doesn’t want to hurt him) as if it is “hands,” like in the preview, which makes more sense.
Also:
They gave Rayvis a good amount of range– he reminds me of so many different Cybird characters!
Rayvis won’t even let you get four full pages into the birthday preview, before he throws his kinks caution to the wind, without a stitch on:
Hello, Precious!
I always buy my favorites, so if Hideyoshi is one of yours, purchase it id you think you will regret not doing so.
If you have the coins, slide on over to the Castle Lottery and greet your allies for a chance to win some more pearls.
Unless you have to have Shigezane’s portraits right when his route comes out, you can always double dip his route and use your pearls on his Premium attire the second go-round, since the epilogues are on a timer and the portraits aren’t.
I’m not sure what promos there will be, but it’s usually related to how many tickets you can use in a certain time period, rather than using pearls.
Right now, you can only use pearls to buy tickets with Masamune and Kojuro’s promo.
I’ve only bought Ieyasu’s epilogue so far, because I haven’t been well, but I enjoyed the insight on Yasu from another character’s perspective, and thought it was pearls well-spent.
I just saw! I didn’t know the lords blink and their mouths move, too!
I’m telling you, I can’t if Nobunaga and Kenshin are going to talk to me the entire game with those voices– I love it!
No wonder there’s no Mitsuhide route, yet. Players would faint!
Hello, Precious!
I was also looking forward to the old stories, so maybe they will have them next year. I’m not sure why they weren’t around for new players and old players who didn’t or couldn’t buy them last year.
Hello, Jane!
I’m glad that I could brighten your day! Also, thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us!
