Alexander Geynrikh beat Pak Kwang-ryong of DPR Korea on AFC Bracket Challenge

Many players have impressed in the AFC Asian Cup throug the years and four of them – Australia's Tim Cahill, Ismail Abdul Latif of Bahrain, Uzbekistan's Alexander Geynrikh and Pak Kwang-ryong of DPR Korea - featured in AFC website Bracket Challenge.

Alexander Geynrikh beat Pak Kwang-ryong from DPR Korea on Thursday's vote as he advanced to the quarterfinals.

Down 3-0 against Korea Republic in the third-place playoff, Alexander Geynrikh sparked a fightback by netting a stoppage time penalty in the first half. Geynrikh’s second goal, however, was a stunner as he weaved his way into the penalty box before finishing past Sung Ryong-jung. Korea, however, held on for a 3-2 win.
