Hudaibiyah Mosque

For those who will perform umrah or hajj ,there are several mosques where to take miqat, one of which is Hudaibiyah mosque located in Al-Hudaibiyah area. Al-Hudaibiyah is an area located on the road between Mecca and Jeddah, which is about 26 kilometers from Masjidil Haram in Mecca. Miqat literally means boundary line between may or not, or start or stop orders, that is when start to pronounce intention of hajj pilgrimage or umrah, and when miqat we have to wear Ihram (Ihram is consecration for use in the pilgrimage to Mecca). In this area there was an agreement between the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wassalam with the unbelievers of Mecca for a period of 10 years. Who wrote this peace treaty at that time was Ali Bin Abi Talib Radhiallahu anhu. The peace agreement only lasted for 2 years, the unbelievers of Mecca violated the peace agreement. In this area there are two mosques, the old Hudaibiyah mosque and the current Hudaibiyah mosque.
