A/N: Here we go, some weeb stuff for anyone that still likes hetalia. this is probably just a one off thing, idk if ill ever do another hetalia one-shot.
Ah World Meetings… They were so chaotic no matter what was being discussed. The conferences have gone like this for so many years, it doesn’t even phase you anymore. The only thing that surprised anymore you were the occasional meetings that actually accomplished something.
You were currently watching the chaos before you in the meeting room, your head propped up by your hand. England and France were arguing about who knows what, America was shouting about some super hero bullshit, Switzerland was threatening to beat people with his peace prize, the Italian twins were also arguing, and everyone else seemed to be doing their own thing. Of course, you observed Germany for a few seconds at a time to catch the moment when he eventually starts yelling for everyone to act accordingly.
Another country you eyed was Russia. He was always interested you in many ways. One of the reasons is his smile he wears during these messy meetings, you don’t know how he could be so happy during this mess of a World Meeting. You were also interested him due to his “innocent yet somehow very scary” appearance. There were so many rumors about him told to you from other nations, but from the interactions you had with him, he seemed decent enough. Plus he was pretty cute as well.
It seems you’ve stared long enough at Russia for his purpled hued eyes to meet yours. Your face flushed with slight embarrassment. You offer the nation a sheepish smile, and he surprised you with a grin and a wave. You felt bad for staring, and you were about to mouth an apology his way, but Germany’s yelling stole your attention from the Russian nation.

You exhaled deeply from your nose as you gathered your belongings. The nations were finally able to get something done, but of course, another fight broke out between France and England. So ultimately nothing got fully done today. Usually it wouldn’t make you so irate, but during the two countries scuffle, they bumped into you and knocked you to the ground. You had a bright red mark on your forehead now.
“(Country Name) I’m sorry for the incident. We were so close to getting work done.” Germany sighed as he stood next to you. You can see his eyes were focused on the mark on your forehead. “Maybe you should go to the infirmary.”
“I think I will be fine, thank you for the concern.” You lightly rubbed your forehead. “Too bad we couldn’t finish the meeting properly, huh Germany?”
“Ja, too bad indeed, hopefully tomorrow will be different. Have a good day, (Country Name).” Germany gave you a polite wave
You returned the wave with a smile, “You too!” You watched the German nation leave the conference room, Italy and Japan joining him. You slung your bag over your shoulder and were about to take your leave, when you felt a tap on your other shoulder. You spun around and were face to face with Russia. He had his usual cute smile on his face has he looked down due to height difference.
“Oh, uh hello, Russia! Sorry for staring during the meeting, probably was really awkward, huh?” You felt like you had made it even more awkward between you and the other nation.
“It is no problem, (Country Name). And I ask why did you stare at me though?” He tilted his head in a cute manner.
“I was just wondering how you can stay so calm during the meetings.” You decided not to fully tell him the truth about thinking he was cute too. “And I was bored of hearing America’s same old hero crap.”
“Da, his talk of being the hero gets… tiring at times. I also wanted to ask you a question.”
“Oh?” You were a bit intrigued on what the tall nation wanted to ask you.
“I was wondering if you would like to go to a nearby café with me?” You were a bit taken back, was he asking you on a date?
“U-Uh yeah sure.” Your face felt warmer than normal as your stared at his face. You noticed his cheeks were a cute pink.
“Then let us be off.” He looped your arm with his, Russia’s other hand was placed on yours as he and you walked out of the conference room.
