It might have seemed a little weird to some people that I wrote the opinionated profile for GOT7 before I wrote 2PM’s, but that’s because I’m really not that into 2PM. The guys are super hot (One of the hottest guys in all of kpop is in this group!) and I definitely enjoy watching them, but I’ve never really gotten into their music. It’s not that it’s bad, it just doesn’t grab me. I’m always hoping, and waiting, for that one single that’ll really make me a Hottest though! I think I could do real well with 2PM. Anyway, here’s my ranking!

6. Nichkhun

Birth name: Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul

Stage name: Nichkhun

Birthday: June 24, 1988

Official height: 180 cm

Position: Vocalist, Face of the Group

Comment: I know this isn’t the way it normally goes, but I’ve actually started liking Nichkhun more after the news broke that he’s dating Tiffany. Thing is, I adore Tiffany. And if she thinks he’s a great guy, then I’m going to trust her on that.

But Nichkhun still isn’t very interesting to me. As I wrote here there’s a mismatch between his face and body that’s slightly freaking me out. His face is so adorable, yet he has that crazy amazing body, which feels strange. I mean, I’m not really complaining, it’s just not for me. I’ve never seen Nichkhun as sexy, and I need to feel that from my biases. At least a little.

As a singer he’s never impressed me. Yes, I don’t follow 2PM much, but I have seen enough lives to know that Nichkhun is not the best singer. He’s not terrible, but as far as I can see he’s for sure there for looks.

5. Chansung

Birth name: Hwang Chan Sung

Stage name: Chansung

Birthday: February 11, 1990

Official height: 184 cm

Position: Vocalist, Rapper, Maknae

Comment: I have a slightly strange relationship with Chansung. At times I find him to be beyond gorgeous, and super sexy, but then the next moment he’s completely plain to me. So I can’t really decide what to do about him. One thing I know for sure though; I find him way more interesting than Nichkhun, so this is where he belongs.

I’ve never paid any attention to him as a rapper, nor as a singer, which most probably means that he isn’t terrible, but not especially good either. I might be wrong in that though.

If we compare the ages of 2PM to my favorite group SHINee we realize that either 2PM is a very old group, or SHINee is a very young group. I’m leaning towards the latter. 2PM debuted a few months after SHINee, and Chansung, their youngest member, is only about 2 months younger than SHINee’s oldest member, Onew. I’ve gotten so used to SHINee’s ages that I don’t think about how young they are, but this reminds me that they really are young.

4. Wooyoung

Birth name: Jang Woo Young

Stage name: Wooyoung

Birthday: April 30, 1989

Official height: 178 cm

Position: Main Vocalist

Comment: Wooyoung was one of the very first members of 2PM that I learned to recognize, since I find him first through his solo endeavors. I found him hot and a good dancer and singer, but he’s never really captured me. So even though he’s always been one of the more recognizable members for me, there was never any risk of him becoming my bias. (Which is good, because this is my friend’s bias)

As I said, Wooyoung impressed me from the get-go with his dancing and singing. He’s definitely one of the stronger singers in the group, but he’s not my favorite singer.

Every time I see him nowadays I always think of Jason, his character on Dream High. That was a great and hilarious character, and Wooyoung made me laugh quite a lot.

3. Jun.K

Birth name: Kim Min Jun (Previously Kim Jun Su)

Stage name: Jun.K

Birthday: January 15, 1988

Official height: 180 cm

Position: Lead Vocalist

Comment: I can never really decide who my favorite singer in 2PM is, but Jun.K is for sure one of the candidates. He’s a very good singer, with a voice that stands out.

When I first started getting into 2PM a little more, and learned the members, Jun.K became my bias. He was the one that stood out to me immediately, and I found him easy to recognize. His face is a little bit strange, but it’s a hot kind of strange, and I dig it!

2. Junho

Birth name: Lee Jun Ho

Stage name: Junho

Birthday: January 25, 1990

Official height: 178 cm

Position: Main Vocalist

Comment: Yeah, my favorite singer is either Jun.K or Junho. They’re both very good, and my favorite varies from song to song, from live performance to live performance. Spots 2 and 3 on this list are incredibly close to each other, and vary pretty much daily. Today I’m a little more into Junho, but I can guarantee that that’ll change.

It’s quite strange to me that Junho’s climbed this high up on my bias list, because he was the member I for the longest time couldn’t recognize. I had to go through all the members and realize it wasn’t any of them before I could be sure that it was him. I guess this proves that there’s hope for anyone, no matter how uninteresting I find them in the beginning.

Junho is incredibly cute, and his smile is amazing. But he still has that thing that Nichkhun doesn’t: some sex appeal. I’m sure there’s plenty of people that think Nichkhun’s got that, but I just don’t feel it. But I for sure feel it from Junho! He’ll never be the sexiest, but from time to time he’s definitely second-best.

1. Taecyeon

Birth name: Ok Taec Yeon

Stage name: Taecyeon

Birthday: December 27, 1988

Official height: 185 cm

Position: Main Rapper, Vocalist, Face of the Group

Comment: Taecyeon is smoking hot, at all times. And it’s so shocking to me now that I didn’t see that until I watched Dream High. But after I started watching that, wow did I see it. I think it took about one episode before Jun.K was officially discarded, and Taecyeon had taken his new spot as my official bias in 2PM.

He’s just gorgeous gorgeous GORGEOUS! There’s not much more to say about him. One of the hottest guys in all of kpop, that’s for sure.

He can’t rap. 2PM lost it’s only capable rapper when they lost Jay Park. But Taecyeon’s rapping is almost so bad it’s kind of good. I like his tone, it’s sexy, and also, well, he’s sexy. His rapping doesn’t piss me off, but Taecyeon isn’t actually a rapper. He’s someone JYP wants to be a rapper.

I love that he’s a dork! It makes him way more attractive to me, if that is even possible.
