They don't even realize what they're actually doing.

Here in Galaxy Hills, the amount of homoerotic subtext in Fanboy and Chum Chum is plastered in almost every episode that the censors are completely oblivious to this.

  • In the "Strings Attached" episode, after Boog is turned from a toy into a frog near the end of the episode, he starts screaming at Lenny to kiss him.
  • In "Refill Madness", after finally succeeding at stealing Cuppy from Fanboy and Chum Chum, they start laughing, Boog's shouting "Oh yeah baby! We did it!", they embrace each other for a second - after which Boog promptly pushes Lenny away and says "Stop huggin' me!". Even more suggestive if you pay attention to Lenny's expression as he leans into the hug.
  • Kyle and Fanboy have a subtle moment in "Excuse Me" (pictured at the top). After Mr. Mufflin falls for their fake excuse letter, an excited Fanboy grabs Kyle's hands as he talks. They continue holding hands and smiling at each other for about ten seconds before realizing what they're doing and pull their hands apart, embarrassed.
    • It seems that Fanboy grabs onto Kyle at every given opportunity, such as when he hopped into his arms bridal-style twice ("Saving Private Chum Chum" and "Cold War", where he and Chum Chum fought over him).
    • Another example is in "Hex Games," when Fanboy dips Kyle in excitement over Sigmund's video game. Kyle's reaction? To smile and place a finger on Fanboy's chest, before proceeding to chew him out.
    • While Fanboy "plays caveman" in "Buddy Up," he hits Kyle over the head before dragging him to his hut, a clear play on cavemen carrying off their wives.
    • In “Saving Private Chum Chum,” there’s a Blink-and-You-Miss-It moment where Fanboy falls on top of Kyle in a very peculiar position.
  • While Fanboy and Chum Chum are so Heterosexual Life-Partners it just demolishes the censors.
    • They constantly have their arms wrapped around each other.
    • "Fangboy" has the duo intent on becoming "immortal companions". Fanboy, who believes he's a vampire, tries to bite Chum Chum's neck several times throughout the episode.
    • Fanboy kisses Chum Chum on the forehead in "Trading Day" and on the cheek in "Saving Private Chum Chum".
    • The whole episode of "Separation Anxiety".
    • In "Fanboy A'hoy", Fanboy and Chum Chum get a Spaghetti Kiss with a candy bead on a string. It's promptly censored by Chris Chuggy, but you can tell what happened.
    • In "Schoolhouse Lock", Fanboy and Chum Chum wander into a cave full of "carnival delusions" and go through the tunnel of love together. Kissing sounds are heard, and when they come out, both of them have lipstick marks on each other. Are you sure they are really best friends?
    • These lines between Fanboy and Chum Chum:
    Chum Chum: No teachers!
    Fanboy: No homework!
    Chum Chum: No clothing!
    Fanboy: Too far!
  • Kyle and Sigmund. In the latter's debut episode, after Sigmund complains about the cutlery not being self-moving, Kyle submissively offers to spoon feed him instead. At one point, a panicking Kyle ends up cupping Sigmund's face with his hands. Sigmund's response? Very mild surprise.
  • Book Report of the Dead actually played like Fanboy had a crush on Mr. Mufflin, what with his desperate need for his teacher's approval and all, and he'd fooled himself into believing he was Mufflin's favorite anyway. He loved having Mr. Mufflin as his Fanboy-worshiping zombie slave as well.
  • In The Incredible Chulk Boog compares Fanboy and Chum Chum to an "old married couple" when they argue. Immediately, Lenny comes in with a rolling pin, nagging Boog. Granted he had a rolling pin because he was telling Boog to restock them.
