One Last Kiss (Ronald Knox X Reader)
This gonna be angsty hopefully not too much but there is some.
——
Ronald stared into your orbs, they were beautiful to say the least. But unfortunately he could tell the luminescent colors of her eyes were fading away. He had to admit, he was very upset that this had happened to you. You were a very interesting human to him, more than others. He knew that your death would eventually come. You couldn’t say that you knew him before but somehow, you felt a kind of connection with him. He held your hand, rubbing to comfort you as he recalled the events from only a week ago.
“Do you love me?” She leaned forward, waiting for him to reply. He frowned at her, deep in thought, he knew there was only a week left and he wanted to make the best of it. He never once felt anything like this, before he knew her he thought he never would. She smiled at him it was breathtaking as always, and it made him awesturck. He took your hand, gently rubbing it to reassure her. “Of course I do. You are a treasure, my love.” He leaned foreward, kissing her plush pink lips. She wrapped her hands around his neck, kissing him back. Ronald pulled away from her, placing his forehead on top of hers, “I love you, forever.” She told him and she never once regretted those words.
He stood right before you, he could hear your voice cry out in pain. The smell of crimson stung his nose as it stained the grass below her damaged body. What tragic accident indeed, and now you both are here. He leaned forward to take a better look at you, You begin to cough blood, “R-ronald…p-please..” He never smiled but instead he touched your cheek, gently thumbing it in light circles. "Tell me, are you afraid of Death?“ You looked up at him, if you weren’t in so much pain you would have said something but you could barely speak full words. You tried to fight for air, he could see her slowly giving up. ” You don’t have to worry my beloved, your pain will end very soon. “ He couldn’t stop staring at her, not even when the light of life faded from your eyes. That was when he got to work, taking his scythe and slicing into her, revealing all the records about her life as he reviewed them, he cherished the few months he spent with you. He was silent but he gave her one last kiss before he left.
She truly was a beautiful tragedy.
