This is a very nice vest, with great fabric and it's well made and flattering. The length is also great if you are like me and want to cover the middle curves/belly. The only problem with it (for me) is that it has way too much room in the bust area. It might fit a well-proportioned woman very well, but for women with curvier middles, to get the correct size means you can't fill out the top. A bit of tailoring by a seamstress should take care of this, so it's definitely a keeper.

I normally wear a size large but bought an XL based on others' comments. I can confirm going a size up is right.

The vest fits well around my midsection, but is slightly too generous in the bust. But, when wearing with a blouse underneath, this should be ok.

I wish the back was also wool. I wanted something to wear inside when I'm cold, without resorting to a jacket or cardigan in summer.

I am 5' 2" and the length is good for me. It's hard to find things that work for my height. To be clear, though,the vest would also look great on a taller woman.

I bought two vests, in gray and brown, and both seem reasonably well made. You could do worse, especially for the price.

I recommend.
