The women and minorities of punk

Derek Ridgers is a self-taught photographer who caught this revolutionary new musical movement right at its start. He tells Dan Damon about the images in his latest book (Punk London 1977) in which he chronicles the lives and looks of the original punks, including women and ethnic minorities.
