Rihanna's Hot Pink Glam Is the Perfect Valentine's Day Look

When it comes to Rihanna’s style and beauty looks, she is one of fashion's true chameleons. No other celebrity can switch as seamlessly between Y2K street style, timeless couture, and cool girl-chic; while looking just as good modeling her own Savage X Fenty line. Which, she just did in a Valentine’s Day campaign, pairing her outfit with bold matching glam.

On January 12, the icon’s lingerie brand posted three separate pictures of the star sporting their new all-pink, ultra-romantic sets. However, although Rihanna made it hard not to stare at (and purchase) the sassy designs, it was her makeup that brought the look to life.

In all three pics, Ri wore the same flirty glam, all in a matching hot pink shade similar to her freshly released bras and underwear. The most scene-stealing part? Her pouty bright pink lips.

Taking all the attention away from the rest of her makeup was a gorgeous two-toned pink look that brought a fullness to her lips while also bringing playful flirtiness. The outside of her lips were lined with a deeper magenta-pink color that had a tinge of red to it. The darker of the two shades provided a frame while also shaping her cupid's bow for the bright hot pink color on the rest of her lips to shine.

Rihanna's makeup artist, Priscilla Ono, revealed the exact shade of lipstick she used on the star: Fenty Beauty Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick in Pink Limo'scene ($29). She shared the shade on Instagram, adding that "My DM’s are blowing up about this lip! Y’all so thirsty and I love it!"

The rest of Ri's makeup was just as pretty but a lot less pink. The Fenty mogul’s skin provided a glowing, radiant base for the rest of her look to shine. Ono lightened her under-eyes with concealer and applied the faintest touches of pink blush on her cheeks. Ri’s eyes were then lined with dark liner on her upper waterline, giving a nice dimension to the shimmering pink shadow on her lids and inner corners.

All of this sat under some heavily highlighted hair. Throughout her dark brown hair, which was styled in a thick side part, were layers of honey-blonde highlights—not too different from the hair she recently debuted at a F1 race. She curled all her hair into thick, voluminous curls all around her head, upping the flirtatiousness of her VDay shoot.

Then, her pink manicure finished off the look. Quite literally the exact same hue as the pink at the center of her lips, Ri’s nails all matched with the same short, square shape, then were painted in a creamy hot pink shade. Of course, since it's Rihanna, some chunky gemstone rings upped the manicure even more. Then, she was ready for whatever February 14 has in store.
