In an article by Soompi, it was confirmed that the Vagabond actor will return as a singer after almost five years and is set to release his seventh studio album titled THE PROJECT on December 10. His last album was launched in 2015. In 2016, as a gift to his fans, he recorded the song “Meet Someone Like Me”. The song was released briefly after he enlisted in the military.
Seung Gi's comeback album has nine tracks that feature masterpieces from some of South Korea's top music producers, namely Yoon Jong Shin, Nell's Kim Jong Wan, Epitone Project, and Brave Brothers. We're super excited about THE PROJECT because some of the songs are meant for healing ("Your Eyes, Your Hands, Your Lips") while others tell Seung Gi's life ("Boy, Walks The Path).
Prior to his new album’s December release, Seung Gi released the single "The Ordinary Man” in November. The track is a collaboration with the famed singer-songwriter Yoon Jong Shin, who is the song’s producer.

Seung Gi’s agency, Hook Entertainment, stated that he received tremendous support after he did a cover of Kim Kyung Ho’s “Forbidden Love” on the variety show Master In The House, where he is also a cast member. “After worrying about how to respond to his fans’ passionate love and support for his performance of ‘Forbidden Love,’ Lee Seung Gi ultimately decided to make his return as a singer. Lee Seung Gi is determined to live up to his fans’ wishes and return with even higher-quality music. Please cheer on Lee Seung Gi, who is currently nervous and excited for his first comeback in a long time as a singer, as he makes his return.”
The next months are going to be *super* exciting for Airens: Aside from his comeback as a singer, Lee Seung Gi will also lead in the upcoming tvN drama, Mouse which reportedly is about psychopaths. He will play the role of police officer Jung Ba Reum.
