Boss Bottled Intense Hugo Boss for men

A nostalgic fragrance. Only now I realise the real value of this scent.

For those looking for apple notes and a fragrance not Layton, this is your alternative.

Snapped up a 50ml bottle for a reasonable price, given it was discontinued years ago.

Favorite fragrance for some sentimental reasons but also because it just smells awesome! Definitely a cooler weather scent for me. The warm, slightly spicy apple on a bed of woodiness is just so satisfying. So sad it was discontinued but i was recently able to snag another 1.7oz for a "reasonable price" for what its going for nowadays

A very pleasant and not overwhelming masculine fragrance. Smells like an adult apple pie and vanilla extract. Very yummy and warm and I would consider buying it.

Smells pretty much like Boss Bottled, but with a heavier, sugary, dusty Bazooka bubblegummy note. I like to layer it with Dua Hidden Gem. It does not last much longer than the OG Boss Bottled. It is a 6/10. Scent same.

There’s this strong “dry woodiness” in this one that I was not expecting. I feel like that’s muting all of the other notes

The original edt was one of my first parfums and I liked it very much but it lacked in longevity. This intense version lasts much longer, It is little less fresh and more creamy sweet though. All I get is very dry wood balanced with some apple. I am not getting any cinnamon, maybe hint of vanilla.

It smells much too similar to Ferrari Black. Which isn't bad, both are good scents, this has more depth. But after having smelled the Ferrari, it doesn't feel very unique.

This is nothing like Layton, at all. Layton is more complex, sparkly, and warmer.

Both EDP intense and EDT intense perform like a beast on me, Plus when I wear some on my jacket I always get compliments. do not wear it on rainy days it fades away with the air humidity, on the contrary in winter/autumn and spring behaves like a true star. I am in love with it and there is no one day that people ask me what I wear when I have this one on.

This one is great for casual wear - it is balanced on the head of a pin honestly with so many things going on but balanced; a fragrance that's in a state of unstable equilibrium - a little more or a little less of anything and things would've gone downhill real fast. You smell the potpourri of smells here - as you read the notes, you pick each one up - the sweetness of the apple and cinnamon, the warmth from the vanilla, fresh florals of lavender, the sharpness of the orange blossom and bergamot. There's a lot going on but in a really nice way. Better for the day in cool weather in my opinion - it's GOOD at night but doesn't have the depth and warmth that a GREAT warm weather fragrance would need I think.

Very solid fragrance, the body/mid is as advertised: apple & cream with a bit of cinnamon. What saves it from being too cloying or overly sweet is the well balanced citrus opener that hangs around and cuts back the sweetness.

I heard time and time again how amazing this fragrance is from a multitude of different reviewers on YouTube and as soon as word got out of it being discontinued, I jumped the gun and bought it. My first impression was... "This is it? This is what all the hype's about?" Personally, it let me down at first because I expected some out-of-this-world scent and it ended up being just okay for me. After a few times wearing it, my opinion changed a little bit and I finally understood what everyone meant. Boss Bottled Intense EDP is literally as everyone says, an apple pie with cream. It's a very delectable scent and it sticks really close to the skin just after a few hours. Personally, it lasts a little over 6 hours and I've received lots of compliments while wearing this fragrance.

Overall, anyone can pull this off. It's more fitting in the winter/autumn time and especially at night. I give it a solid 7.5/10.

Bought this cologne for like 42 fragrance x, it’s alright you know. Smelling from the sprayer you smell orange blossom and bergamot. In the dry down it smells a little sweet it’s alright nothing too good or bad.

Pretty good smell. Works with most occasions during the day. Enjoyable scent. Probably gets a 8/10.

Been wearing this for a few days received this as a gift from a friend but had previously tested it out in stores before. I think it is a very simple but pleasantly nice scent that gets the job done. I'm planning to test this out more over the coming days as I'm considering using it as my office/work scent in cooler months and have occasionally used it as a bedtime scent. But so far it has been pretty promising.

The scent opens with some citrus and prominent tartyness from the apple making it pretty fresh initially for a the first 5-10 mins. The freshness fades with the apple note remaining as the spices of cinnamon most predominantly and cardamon become more noticeable. As this continues to settle on the skin this combination blends majestically to create an apple pie/apple crumble accord which lasts for majority of the fragrance. I get some woods coming in much later in the progression but it adds to the very cosy feel of this fragrance.

The performance of this fragrance is pretty good so far lasting around 8 hours on my skin it projects strongly first two hours before slowly settling. It becomes a skin scent at around 5 hours.

I will update this as soon as get more wears out of it but I am happy

UPDATE; After more testing it is a very intoxicating scent I love it. The performance is amazing easily lasting around 10 hours. I've gotten a few compliments here and there but its pretty average for compliments compared to some others in my collection. Worth it ! I'm gonna get another bottle before these become hard to find

I just bought this yesterday & overall I'm impressed, I find it unique & it lasts long however I do find the opening a bit too strong for my tastes, it reminds me of an air freshener, it projects a nice scent from a distant but you don't wanna get too close. I feel like this is the kind of fragrance that performs better in warm weather. Anyway this is just the beginning for me so I'm interesting to see how this goes

This reminds me of my lovely Bond no 9 Lafayette street. It needs to be a little better in the performance.

Similar to the EDP iteration in theory- and I'm open to the possibility of placebo here- but there is an extra dose of synthetic sweetness that tips it over to the realm of weirdy unpleasant and sickly to my nose. EDP, I can appreciate much more and echo all the sentiments about apple pies and autumn evenings.

Got this today along with "The One" but I like this a lot more. I was expecting it to be sweeter, but its fresher than I thought it would be - in good way. This will definitely be in my top 10 and maybe even top 5. My favourites always do a
good job of combining fresh with sweet and this is a perfect example of that. The word that comes to mind is intoxicatung which isnt something I expected from a cinnamon based fragrance. 9/10.

Vanilla and resins, plus peanut butter/mint/cedar. Some cedar notes come across like peanut butter on my skin but the mint edge to this one is puzzling. Overall, it's a weird melange and not my thing.

Nice sweet fragrance, It's stronger than the original, but i prefer the original.

Occasion - casual, office scent.

The performance is good, 4-5 hr longevity on my skin, and 1.5-2 hr projection.

Loud, dense and bright for the first 4 hours, then quickly drops off to a very soft remnant (which is sometimes hard to smell since the big start often makes me anosmic). It sometimes seems to fall apart to a dusty mess at that point as well. If the drydown was just a soft skin scent consistent with the rest of the scent (like most frags do) I’d love it. But that dusty fallen-apart phase is a bit unpleasant.

Sweet and spice fragrance. Quite strong for the first 3 hours. I get 6-8 hours longevity from this fragrance. Definitely the best compared to the original Boss Bottled.

This has a beautiful sillage that wafts up to you and smells amazing. This is like the OG formulation Boss Bottled but a little dryer and slightly smokey. One of those fragrances like YSL L'Homme and D&G The One that you can't go wrong with and would smell amazing on any man

This smells absolutely nothing like apple pie nor do you smell any apples or spices. This smells like Paco Rabanne 1 million along with many other designer fragrances. I blind bought this based on the “apple pie” comments but this smells like chemicals on top of more chemicals with literally zero apple or spices at all.

Classy and playful at the same time. From what I remember when owning this, it reminded me of 1 million, but fresher, lighter, it has a kind of brand new paper smell, with a bit of that bubble gum sweetness from 1 Million. The Only negative l have to say about this is, that it doesn't last very long. But if you get a little decant for it, no problem, because you will want to smell this on you all day!

My story with this perfume is short; almost 2 years. It smells like a fresh showered clean handsome man that u love which is enough to describe how good it is.
I can't be objective coz i love the man who wears it. PS: I think I'd love anything he wears ;)

This has become my "signature" scent. I find myself wearing it almost exclusively of late. I love this scent.

I love this fragrance. It has lovely sweet opening of apple, orange blossom, and bergamot. With a wonderful masculine edge of cinnamon, vanilla, and Woody notes in the dry down.

Just got my hands on this and another excellent Boss scent. You just smell good, plain and simple. If you're looking to smell like an African iguana dipped in chocolate rain then boss scents aren't for you, and that's ok. But for me this smells so good.

This smells like it did when it first came out! Real powerful! And the original one smells like a watered down 30% less potent one! Smell 8/10...

Tried it at the shop the other day and I'll be buying it very soon.

To me it smells like a warm apple pie; apple, vanilla and cinnamon are the major notes.

But let's have a look at what you're getting for your money. 100ml of eau de parfum for 40 dollars, it lasts for ever, projects very well, smells sexy and is very versitile because you can use this fragrance in the fall, in the winter, in the office, for a date, going out or just casually walking around in the day or night.

This is like the new, modern Boss Bottled.
As I‘ve stated in my Boss Bottled review, this stuff is quite amazing. Now, when it comes to the intense version, it gets even better! I got this right after it was released and used it up fairly quickly and I have to say, the performance is fantastic. It lasts an entire day without a problem. It‘s not really much stronger in it‘s smell itself, it just lasts longer - which is exactly what I‘m looking for in an intense version of a perfume.
If you‘re considering Boss, consider the intense version! Unfortunately I haven‘t tried the edp‘s but generally speaking, a more intense version will be worth it!

Tested it few weeks ago while the weather was still chilly. It's definitely an autumn scent just like the original. Perhaps the best apple pie vibe in the game. However, I prefer the original because it's more natural. The Intense is superb but I find it too sweet. Although the projection on the Intense is better on the first hour, it actually has less longevity than the original. So it comes down to what you prefer. For me, the original set the standard for this genre

Interesting scent, warm and spicy. Shockingly very low performance and no sillage whatsoever ! it instantly fades into skin scent. Definately will never re-purchase once i'm done. Suitable for Fall and Winter mornings/nights.

Maybe I was little harsh on this. Scent is actually powerful and lasts for good long time. Projection is a beast, however I believe by now, it's much of a generic scent.

Best for fall/winter days and nights.

True to the intense name, this fragrance takes the scent of the original and amps it up.

Apple and vanilla are dominant in the opening along with some spice from the cinnamon and cloves. It's a lovely, in-offensive scent.

Sillage is pretty good along with good longevity. Really can't fault this, a very nice fragrance!

I got several compliments from the Ladies, they Loved It !!
It is a little weak in the performance. I went with 4 sprays on skin 2 on clothes, got about 5 to 6 hours.

To me, this is Fall in a bottle. I love the way it smells. Spicy, a little sweet and great for early fall or warmer fall days.

The performance and longevity are lacking for sure. I really overspray this one and have no problem doing so. If you’re looking for an inexpensive designer fragrance for fall, give this one a shot, especially if you are just getting started collecting fragrances.

Totally Crappy, synthetic Perfume. Just Has that Hugo Boss DNA and smells Cheap, I nearly bought this Blind, thank God I tested it.

Based on experience I got compliments on this when I am in an arms length of the person who gave me the compliment be it laying in bed with my wife, giving a hug to my grand mother or talking in close proximity with an office colleague.

For me it works best after it sits down on my body or clothes after sometime so when it dries down that's when you might expect to be complimented.

It never work through scent trail or the initial blast of projection.

All in all I would say that for me this is the best all around fragrance, you can play with different moods when wearing this scent. Easily a contender for a good signature scent.

He has GOOD taste in perfume, last night was the first time I smelt this on him,
I was sniffing him haha, I had to know what perfume it was. All he said was "Hugo boss".. Yeah, but like which oneee?? He has the Hugo boss just different which I also love on him, and the Hugo boss bottled, but I knew it wasn't the two so he murmured "nah the bottle one, the glass one" he had me laughing, he smirked and I had to guess, "INTENSE"?
He replied yeahhhh that's the one.
As a female I can say this right here smells SEXY, phenomenal❤️ I seriously couldn't stop inhaling the smell, I told him to wear it more often with a wink....

An intense version that's actually intense, so kudos to Hugo Boss. I'm currently doing a comparison on each forearm between the original and the intense version. The intense version is without a doubt sweeter on the onset, but it mellows down to a much more pleasant woody base than the original. Also, the updated version is lasting incredibly long on my skin, and my skin is not overly dry but it doesn't usually hold a fragrance for more than an hour or two.

I'm very impressed with the longevity of this updated version. The sillage is excellent and seems to leave a very pleasant, non-cloying scent bubble noticeably around me with only 3 moderate sprays (1 spray each to the sides of the neck and one to the upper chest, on skin).

I'm very much a fan of the original version and it's definitely in my top 5 fragrances of the 90s. This new version is surprisingly better than what I was expecting, so I would strongly recommend to anyone who is either on the fence about the intense version or is looking for a very safe, inoffensive scent that I believe can be worn year-round to pick this up.

I love Boss Bottled. It's a great fall scent.

Boss Bottled Intense is similar but the vanilla and apple notes are ramped way up and it comes off extraordinarily synthetic. It's loud, a bit brash. Maybe good for a club or outdoor party in colder weather.

It shares a strong vanilla note to those you'd find at like Bath and Body Works in their sprays. Hard for me to get past how that smells and it's definitely not something I want to smell like.

EDP is super similar. A bit denser but the synthetic notes are all there, just as loud.

Longevity isn't bad, actually. 6-8 hours with moderate projection for at least half of that.

A 4.5/10. Not worth seeking out.

After testing the edp version a few times and loving it, I bought this on special thinking it would be the same, if not better than the edp version. Many people said that this is the same or that the edt would actually out-last the edp for some reason.

No. Wrong.

This projects for a meagre 20 minutes on me and then fades to a skin scent which fizzles out to a barely detectable vanilla within another hour or two. That just isn't good enough for what I paid.

Now I could have a bad bottle but I doubt it. It was manufactured inside the last 24 months and I bought it from a reputable seller.

This is a lovely fragrance but marketing it as "intense" is very misleading in my experience and I feel like I've been duped.

Other people may get different performance from this juice, but please try it out first before shelling out hard earned money for an unsatisfactory product like I did.

Mostly vanilla, clove, cinnamon, apple. A little too sweet and spicy for me. Like it but don't love it. Might be better for night time than office. Basic message is "I'm a nice guy who likes apple pie."

Best cologne in the world (in my personal opinion). Safe, inoffensive and absolutely gorgeous scent that works all year round for any occasion. You'll notice it's quite reminiscent of a delicious apple-pie. You can never go wrong with Bottled Intense

It's been a long time since i owned the original Boss Bottled. However, if my memory serves me well, this Intense version is just like the Fragrantica description says less sweet than the original. And this is where this frag fails IMHO, this type of scent screams for that extra sweetness to be really enjoyable. I find the Intense version to be harsher, rougher, very synthetic and on the whole not as good as the original. It is fairly long-lasting, projection is less impressive. Now, I'm really longing to try the edp of this.

If you like sweet, you'll really like this. To my nose it's far less complicated than list of ingredients would suggest. Big hit of Orange on the opening with a fairly balanced Vanilla theme right from the start. The Sandalwood starts to kick in as it drys worn. I thought the Vetiver wasn't going to happen, but I think it made an appearance after an hour or so (although that may have been wishful thinking). I can see why some reviewers have compared it with 1 Million, but IMO it's fresher and less raucous. I think it's more redolent of L'Occitane's Baux (especially as it drys down)

Decent longevity (3-4 hours) and slightly above average Sillage.

Maybe too sweet for me, but overall I liked it. A solid 7/10.

Boss Bottled Intense is a nice,sweet,spicy,warm,woody and well-blended scent.This fragrance is very similar to the original Boss Bottled from 1998,and looks like a pretty nice upgrade for sure as far as performance go.It's a beautiful fragrance,there's no question about it.

Reminds me a little bit of Ambré Baldessarini and 1 million.Could be a signature scent.You'll get compliments with this one.

The Boss. (Period)

Scent: Classy. Warm. Cosy. Confortable. Cinamon. Less sweet (original).

Uses: Fall and winter Work scent perfection. Cold weather. Fall wildcard, dumb reach. Casual and formal. Dates.

Performance: solid. Hole work day (aprox. 8h). Moderate projection (personal bubble).

IMHO: Amazing. Classic. Women love.

Warning: Maybe it's in the girl's memory somehow (ex-BF, father, etc.). (Safe use: work).

Rate: 9,5/10.

A perfect example of doing an intense of an original winner. I have always had boss bottled no. 6 in my line up but once this intense version came out, I stopped using the original and stuck to this. Its the original with a warm apple pie note instead of just apple and increased vanilla. I get great longevity. Up to 8-9 hours. Projection and sillage are great on my skin. Definitely safe for your clothes as well. Versatile for the warmer months as well just go easier on the trigger. I get noticed a lot with this. Women love it too.

Boss bottled intense is just great. This is sweet but not too sweet. You definitely get that Apple-Pie vibe with this one.This is also a huge compliment getter.
I would say this is best suited for a younger crowd. Despite this i think its highly versatile and wearable for any age group.
This is perfect if you go to high school or college and you want to get compliments from both girls and blokes.
Longevity on this one is anywhere between 6-10 hours.
This also projects reasonably well. Because the scent of this is pretty linear, its not a bad idea to spray it on your clothes. That way it lasts longer and even projects for a good 10 hours

Ohhhh this is good. I always liked the original bottled scent, had a bottle of it years ago. This new 'intense' version steps it up a notch to a modern, next level.

It's slightly sweeter, which is a really good thing, as it works well. It's not too sweet, but just enough to make it so much nicer. Slightly stronger than the original, and can also notice the occasional vanilla in there. The fragrance is unmistakeable. 75% of the original.

Lasts for ages on my skin, several hours at least.

I can't stop smelling myself. Sexy as hell I reckon (the fragrance, not me...)

I don't know anyone that says the EDT is stronger. The EDP is definitely the way to go.

As to freshness - the original Boss Bottled is fresher but thats EDT as well. The intense and intense parfum are similar in freshness.

Real Talk, Tried spraying both Hugo Boss Intense(Left Inner Elbow,which I have For almost A year now) and Hugo Boss Intense Parfum (right Inner Elbow, which I bought just a week ago ) on my Inner Elbows to test both frags all day longevity. and Guess what...After I showered before bedtime Hugo Boss Intense EDT Stays on my LEFT inner elbow like it is inside my skin already, while the parfum Version on the right has completely gone. I just cant believe how the EDT VERSION OUTSHINES ITS EDP VERSION ON THIS FRAG. Has anybody tried and Realized the same thing?
and the EDT version Has A FRESHER VIBE MAKING IT A FRAG THAT CAN BE USED FOR SUMMER AS WELL.

A worthy update of a timeless classic. With it's BOSS Bottled DNA nearly 20years old it most certainly still packs a punch. Be warned though, these days it lacks in it's versatility. The cinemon and vanilla restricts it to the cooler months and when worn casually it'll come off a little dated. Having said that, this fragrance should be given the credit it deserves - wear it with a suit in the appropriate cooler months and it will not let you down. This and Hugo are the only two BOSS fragrances worth investing in.

This reminds me of old times, it released just in 2015 but i am pretty sure i smelled this at least 4-5 years ago. I thought about where did i smell this first but i could not remember because it was really really before... Probably it was regular Boss Bottled. Whatever, good performance, great smell. I just want to eat myself while smelling this.

I wanted to buy this, but i tested it before i made a decision. I m glad i did. The opening is denser than the original, drydown is exactly the same. I tested the bottled intense on one hand, the original on the other. The original actually outlasted the intense version on my skin. The original lasted a good 8 hours on my skin, the intense version was practically gone in the 5th hour mark. It might be my skin thought, it is still a good scent, just doesnt last long on my skin. If it does last for you. go for it.

It's Simply one of the best release and best flankers from the original version of all times..... A perfect office scent for all seasons.....Most versatile scent after terre d hermes

This fragrance is so addictive! Every time I wear this, I can't stop smelling myself. It's a bit sweeter than the original but otherwise extremely similar, except the longevity and sillage are better than the original, of course. I'm really looking forward to wear this in the upcoming fall as soon as it gets cold enough! Also a great scent for clubbing and garners some compliments, although it's not a compliment monster as a small percentage of girls doesn't seem to like it, but I honestly don't care that much with this one because it smells so fucking amazing TO ME. 10/10 would bathe in it.

You were right, they've just announced the release of an EDP version of this one!

Honestly the original boss bottled more pleasant compare with intense version. But sadly after reformulation the original boss bottled become very poor performance. For nowadays is worthy to buy the intense version than the original version, except you lucky can find the vintage version.
However, the bottled Intense is still amazing fragrance, peoples pleasure, timeless scent, very versatile and perfect for any occasion.

Just get this juice today from fragrance X....fast delivery outside US....the juice smell similar from the original....nothing to brag about....for projection and longevity in this humid weather even at night....emmmm well forget it....

i got this juice 100ml around 2 weeks ago and im hooked on it. there is a yummy apple edible quality about this . smells kinda similar to chopard amber malaki not totally the same but almost .

if you have Mancera Cedrat Boise then boss bottled intense compliment each other when layered, an amazing discovery i made yesterday they really boost and enhance eachother .

boss bottled intense is the type of fragrance that makes me want to buy another 3 as backups , i really hope they dont reformulate this one. but hey they should make an EDP version of intense . longevity isnt that great but the fragrance is a 9/10

I have never worn the original boss bottled, so this is a pure and unaltered review of boss bottled intense (no comparisons between the two).

In my opinion, this is an amazing fragrance.
It starts off quite fresh and light, but with the woods and spices lingering in the background.

As time goes by, the roles become switched. It becomes woodsy and spicy, with the freshness lingering in the background.

Bubblegum? Nope. I don't get that on my skin. It's more of a herbal fresh kind of smell to me.

On my skin, this performs really well. It easily lasts 8hrs+, projects at arms length (at least) and leaves a wonderful scent trail.

It is extremely versatile and signature scent worthy, particularly for those of us living within the tropics. I just wear this whenever really, and it always suits whatever occasion I'm in.

I give this fragrance a solid 9/10.

After more wear, there is this somewhat synthetic feel to this fragrance that I just can't get over.

I change my rating to a 6/10.

Been wearing the original Boss Bottled as my signature scent for many years now. If it ain't broke dont fix it? It was a nice attempt, but somewhat disappointing.

Not too fond of this bubblegum opening and sweet gourmand dry down. The original DNA is there, but hits you with a curveball in another direction that just doesn't suit me.

Stunning fragrance. I've tried the original and thought the longevity and projection was poor, this however does exactly what it says on the tin, great longevity and brilliant projection. It does have a slight hint of 1 million and the dry down is a bit sweet but it is a beautiful scent. Best purchase I have made in a while. 10/10

I like Boss Bottled Intense, but it is a little less well blended than the original Boss Bottled. It also comes across as a hair more synthetic due to whatever aromachemical they used for the clove note. The clove note combines with the rest of the notes to push forward a "juicy fruit gum" smell as many here describe it, but thankfully that combination doesn't smell like strong cloves. That juicy fruit smell then mixes with the original Boss Bottled scent. It does not smell at all like 1 Million to me. It is still easily identifiable as Boss Bottled.

Whereas the original is perhaps a 9.5/10 in smell, this is perhaps a 8.75 out of 10. It projects and lasts way better than the original in current formulation, so that makes up for the smell of Intense not being quite as nice.

Overall, 9 out of 10.

Got a 100ml Bottle last week.. Yes it has the Original Vibe to a great extent. This is Warmer and spicier than the original and has highly noticeable cinnamon and Vanilla which is enjoyable.With 4 decant sprays, I get good longevity and average projection.Overall ok

Like the original.This doesn't last longer on my skin. Intense has no palm note nd less spicy.Woody note also not pleasant at all.

I actually really like the scent but, ironically for an "intense" version, this doesn't have nearly the projection or lasting power that the original does. I put it on my skin and it's gone after a few hours, whereas the original lasts all day and night for me. I like the scent of Intense more, but I'm disappointed it performs so poorly.

This just arrived today. I DEFINITELY get the bubble gum smell/vibe from this. That might seem the strongest thing for me in the beginning at least. I don't know, maybe it's basically... Boss Bottled + bubble gum vibe/smell with improved longevity over Boss Bottled?

It's basically more woody and spicy version of the original no. 6.
Not as bright as the original, kinda warmer, more suited for winter.
To me, this smells like end of mid notes/base notes of the original.
If you like them, you'll like the Intense version.
I only sampled it so I can't comment on the longevity or sillage but the smell it 8/10 for me.

after testing this little more, I found out it has a lot of cinamon and bubble gum kind of feel. Don't really like it afterall. I'm sticking with original for now.

I can not believe I'm going to say- Yes, I do like this Hugo Boss. Monster sillage, hot aura, rather reminiscent of Hot Water, just a bit sweeter. Reminiscent of a ''father'', with violet, which is not in the list of notes. Well done Hugo Boss. Well, nothing spectacular, but very solid. Especially if we take into account what it is, and who is Hugo Boss perfumes generaly.

I only wish that the bubble gum scent was not that strong, if it was weaker this fragrance would be just perfect.

Boss Bottled Intense is soft to my nose. I kinda like the smell... but wish it was stronger because I live in a tropical Country where the scent can easily and quickly evaporate.

I would give it, all in all, 6.5/10.

Just added this beauty into my collections and I would say it's one of the finest fragrances I have come through. It smells so fresh and instantly gives you a hyped up feeling. Glad that I have bought this and hats off Boss Bottled Intense.

Reminds me of Ferrari Black which I liked but loathed for its poor performance. If this one manages to get past 8 hours I'm good with it although I'm not sure I would be wearing it is very common in the country I live in.

This is a great fragrance, was surprised just how good it is. Definitely tweaked from the original. It's warmer, spicier and has a fabulous woody cinnamon note, it lasts really well, for the few quid extra it's well worth it. I'm not a major fan of Boss Bottled, but the Intense is great.

Great smelling perfume. I've owned boss bottled the original as well. This smells more masculine. Lovely opening notes. The dry down is beautiful. But sadly the projection fades of rather quickly..probably about an hour. After that it's skin scent. Disappointed with the longevity. They need to come up with the same juice on a edp.

Smells almost identical to the original to me, little bit stronger at first. Why so expensive?! Almost a tenner cheaper to get a 200ml of the original than 100ml of intense. Definitely overpriced

Totally much better than regular one.It has a Chinese Cream smell but I like it very much!This one it's worth to stay on the market.Regular one is just a fade shadow of the emblematic fragrance which is supposed to be on the beggining

Oh dear!!!! Yet another failed attempt by a fragrance range where they've opted for marketing & hype over the actual end product. "Intense" should be relabeled "Aqua" in my opinion. This (apart from a stronger vanilla scent) is basically the original re-formulated but somehow gone wrong!! Not worth the ridiculous price tag and basically does this fantastic Boss Bottled line an injustice. 2-3 hours max on my skin before the smell has completely disappeared and everyone else I speak to much prefers the original also. I agree with Mak90.....Boss need to bring this out as an EDP or leave it alone completely, the original is a masterpiece, so why try and re-invent the wheel?!

Has the same bubble gum type sticky sweet 1 million vibe. What happened to the charm and classy warmth of the original? I used to own boss bottle (Pre-reformulation) and it was fresh, sweet, masculine. Now this is a synthetic sticky mess of a frag :(

Was looking forward to this as a darker, richer version of the original. Unfortunately (for me), it's still too similar and nothing stands out. You'd think after 17 years they'd come up with something a little more complex, but pretty much the same thing. If you like the original, you'll love this. But for me, it's still too light and fruity, still 100% unisex (was told I had nice perfume on when I wore the original). At the time of writing this I've only been able to find it at Airports.

Warm and fruity yet distinctively woody and masculine. Sophisticated and layered. Perfect for business meetings and dinner parties, and all those occasions when discreet elegance is a must.

212 VIP and one million? Really? Well... I have to disagree. I can't stand those 2 fragrances. But this one I love! It does remind me of others sweet/spicy fragrances like potion and spicebomb but definitely not those two. Boss Bottled intense is not cloying, sticky or overpowering!

Boss bottled intense has a dominant vanilla accord with cinnamon and some apples. Wonderful gourmand perfume that smell like some kind of an apple pie.

Was not a fan of any Hugo Boss perfumes until this one. It's a warm winter vanilla fragrance. Too bad summer is about to start!

Agree with nightcutter, great flanker whereas the sport version is an absolute stinker. Just a great fragrance, tons of compliments in two days I've had it and really don't understand the grief it's getting from some people here.

Very good flanker. A thousand times better than the Night and Sport versions.
Intense actually smells like the original but Intense is less powdery and less sweet. It seems to have the same performance as the original. I will buy a bottle when it gets discounted.

I tried it for the third time today for a full wearing, and I must admit that it does bare some resemblance to the original, but not that much to my nose.

In fact, what it smells like is the original Bottled mixed 50/50 with 1 Million or Spicebomb.

The original is better, cause I hate 1 Million. BUT! Buy this over 1 Million, it's much better.

Tried it today and have a sample at home. It's what you expect, almost the same smell of the original with 1/3 more concentration that increases longevity even more.

The smell itself is very close to the original, just sweeter and spicier due to the addition of clove and probably a boost of the cedar wood note. Bottled Intense is too sweet for my taste, it still has that amazing addictive apple pie smell but it's too sweet. Both my mother and my girlfriend told me they didn't like it without doubt, one found it a girls scent and the other found it weirdly unpleasant and loud.

So if you like the original my advice is that you stick to it. It already has great sillage and longevity. In my opinion this is a redundant and unnecessary flanker that doesn't improve Boss' masterpiece of 1998.

If you're going to add a higher percentage of "precious oils," why not up them to EDP levels? Or will that be the Hugo Boss Bottled Intense Extreme flanker to be released in 2016?
