We know Diane Kruger to usually have long blonde straight hair. A few time, we've even seen her with a classic bob. But the German actor, who first became famous as Helen in the blockbuster Troy, now has a completely new look: a curly mullet.

On her Instagram feed, Diane Kruger has been sharing photos of herself with this completely different look. She not only has a new hair color—a monochrome blonde—but also a change in cut. It's the modern variant of the mullet, with bangs and layers that elongate the neck.

Hairstylist Yoann Fernandez is responsible for the cut, whom Diane Kruger thanks in her post. She writes in her caption: “New hair, who dis?”—a good question considering that one can hardly recognize her with her new look. She also gives “a big thank you” to John Nollet for the color.

This is how Diane Kruger styles her curly mullet.

Even big stars and actors like Diane Kruger have to deal with the fact that a new haircut also means changes in the texture of their hair. Now that she is wearing this ultra-cool mullet, the actor has noticed that her natural curls have been coming out more. She shared this phenomenon with her followers, writing, “When you love your new cut but all of a sudden you got a natural perm! So crazy!”

The resulting curls give Diane Kruger's mullet a fresh look—and they're also ingenious because she doesn't need much styling to pull off the do. In general, the mullet needs very little care. Thanks to the long hair at the back of the head, it’s also easy to style. Ponytails and chignons are still possible as are soft waves.
