Cate Blanchett continued to show her commitment to sustainable style at Milan Fashion Week, where she chose to wear a piece from her existing wardrobe for her appearance on the front row.

The Australian actress attended Giorgio Armani’s spring/summer 2024 show on Sunday (24 September) wearing an embellished jumpsuit from the designer's couture archive teamed with suede heeled boots.

The sleek black style, which features beading detail and a cape, was previously worn by the Oscar-winning star at the Palm Springs Film Festival in June, where she styled the jumpsuit with matching stiletto heels.

Cate's stylist Elizabeth Stewart shared the look on Instagram, highlighting that the actress was rewearing a piece from Armani's collection rather than picking something new.

"Rewear alert! Anyone remember when #CateBlanchett first wore this fabulous @giorgioarmani jumpsuit? Re-worn again today for the stunning Armani show in Milan," Stewart wrote on Instagram.

Repeating red carpet styles has become part of Cate's dedication to sustainable fashion. During her press tour for film The New Boy in July, the actress stuck to "re-worn and cherished" outfits that she had been photographed in on previous occasions.

And in June, Cate attended the Fragrance Foundation awards in New York City, where she re-wore a striking black Armani Privé gown for the fourth time.

The actress wore the custom Privé gown to the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards earlier in the year, styling the sequined bodice with a minimalistic lace underlay. The lace was repurposed from the original all-lace Armani gown the star wore to the 2014 Golden Globes and to a 2018 Cannes premiere. Just more confirmation that the secret to looking good doesn't always mean buying something new.
