1. Porsche 911

MS Dhoni is a champion at everything he does. And if he’s investing his millions in an expensive supercar, he can’t settle for anything other than a winner. And so it makes sense that he is among the Indian celebrities who own a Porsche, the 911 kind to be specific. This car can go from 0-100 kms/hour within 4.5 seconds, which is perfect for when he wants to escape crowds. It can even reach top speeds like 306 kms/hour, for when Captain Cool has a hankering for speed. It is priced at a staggering ₹2.5 crore, according to Financial Express.

MS Dhoni being the petrolhead that he is, he became the first person in India to own a Jeep Gram Cherokee SRT Trackhawk last year. This beast is essentially the most powerful production version of Jeep’s flagship SUV, known as the otherwise domesticated Grand Cherokee. It features a massive 6.4-litre, V8 that makes over 475 bhp. However, the SRT, in comparison extracts 707 bhp from a Dodge Challenger Hellcat-derived 6.2-litre V8 that’s been supercharged to dish out some seriously impressive track times. Even though it weighs a massive two tonnes, it can still go from 0-100 kms/hour within 3.5 seconds.

While this isn’t the most expensive of MS Dhoni’s cars, it’s definitely among the rarest. Dhoni bought a left-hand drive Pontiac Firebird earlier this year. It was delivered to the cricketer’s Ranchi farmhouse while he had already jetted off to UAE for IPL. Sakshi Dhoni, his wife, received it and shared it with fans online. It packs a humongous V8 Big Block Engine and a 4-speed Muncie transmission with Hurst Shifter While there's no information on how much MS Dhoni spent on this, a report in HT Auto stated that the same model was sold for ₹68.31 lakh at an auction in Mumbai last November.

Back in 2016, New Zealand played an ODI in Ranchi and MS Dhoni had a swanky way of welcoming the team to his hometown, Ranchi. Instead of riding on the team bus, he drove his monstrous Hummer H2 right next to the bus. Not only did it go viral on social media back then, it also introduced us to the beast in MS Dhoni’s garage. The H2 can run on any terrain and the head-turner costs about ₹75 lakh, according to Car Dekho.

5. Nissan 1 ton

Another rare car from MS Dhoni’s car collection is a modified Nissan 1 ton aka the Nissan 4W73 series truck. This exact vehicle was earlier used by the Indian Armed Forces for a long time before the model was discontinued. Captain Cool not only owns it but has also made some modifications to his new ride. The reason this vehicle is so rare is because the Nissan 1 Ton is, in fact, a military vehicle. It is very rare to catch a site of this car with civilians as it is only sold and designed specifically for the Indian Army. In fact, a very similar Nissan truck that was also used by the Indian Army was given the acronym JONGA by the army itself. It stands for Jabalpur Ordnance and Guncarriage Assembly. That car was an older generation of the Nissan Patrol model. Since this car isn’t manufactured anymore, it has to be bought as a used vehicle and it seems like MS Dhoni paid a hefty price for buying it.
