KAREENA ON PLAYING BLACK WIDOW IN AUDIO SERIES

Speaking about what was her biggest takeaway from the audio series, Kareena told IndiaToday.in, “Since this is an inspiring story about human resilience, I learn that tragedy changes people and we come out of it with more perspective. Star-Lord, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Wolverine face incredible tragedy and a world in disarray, but no matter what hardship one faces in life, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Therefore, we must fight for it; we can all be heroes in our own life, for our own family and for the kind of world we believe is right.”

When asked if voice acting was more challenging for her because it is a different medium, Kareena mentioned, “It is a challenging and unique experience for the narrator because you don’t have visual aid yourself and are completely relying on your voice to take the listeners on a journey with you. You must help them imagine the story.”

'I AM VERY SECURE IN MY PLACE'

Recently, Kareena mentioned that she doesn’t want to feel burdened by her ‘star’ status and wants the actor in her to experiment more. Elaborating on it, Kareena shared, “I have always said that I am an actor and do what I do for the love of it and will continue to do so. I am aware of my strengths and have always been very content with my choices and perceptions have never bothered me. I am very secure in my space and always strive to work towards being a better version of myself.”

Lastly, when asked about a character trait of Black Widow she would like to imbibe in her daily life, Kareena told IndiaToday.in, “There are so many traits that one can imbibe from her. For me, Black Widow is resilient; she can bounce back in the face of adversity. I would like to have the determination and strength that she possesses, the way she turns setbacks into opportunities for comebacks.”

The Marvel audio series will also see Saif Ali Khan, Prajakta Kohli and Masaba Gupta make their debut as voice artists. Jaideep Ahlawat, who had earlier given his voice to the audio series ‘Baby Doll’ alongside Richa Chadha, is a part.

Kareena is currently busy shooting for ‘The Crew’ where she will be seen alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon, among others.
