Ipoh Parade announced its upcoming Hari Raya celebration, taking place on 13 and 14 April 2024. Embracing the spirit of togetherness and festivity, Ipoh Parade invites everyone to join in the excitement and immerse themselves in a vibrant cultural experience.
From 12:00pm to 8:00pm on both days, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in various engaging workshops, including Ketupat Weaving and Raya Woodwork Painting. These workshops offer a hands-on experience for individuals of all ages to learn traditional crafts and create their own unique Raya decorations.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, there will be Caricature Drawing sessions for families from 1:00pm to 2:00pm and again from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, allowing guests to capture memorable moments in a fun and artistic way. Do note that participants will have to spend RM50 at Ipoh Parade. Additionally, Bicycle Clowns will entertain the crowd from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, spreading joy and laughter throughout the celebration.
Attendees can also look forward to captivating performances, including the dynamic Muhibbah Drums at 4:15pm and mesmerizing Dance Performances at 4:30pm and 5:30pm. For those enchanted by magic, a thrilling Magic Show will be held at 5:00pm, promising an unforgettable experience for spectators of all ages.
In addition to the exciting activities and offers, Ipoh Parade’s main court is adorned with stunning decor inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Hari Raya. Guests will be greeted by palm trees, traditional lamps, a giant standing prismatic lamp, Moroccan-inspired arches, and an Islamic Pavilion set against a backdrop of geometric motifs laid floor decorations.
