Kim Hyun Joong confirmed this in an old interview, when he is working on a new album, he never talks about it to his friends or to his family.
Apart from the very close team working on the promotion and the setting up of the online concert, we assume that right now there aren’t many people who know what it will look like.
He has, however, given us some clues in last months.
March 25:
It is the album of a solitary poet.
This album is hopeful and very loving.
On the other hand, he is also critical.
April 15 :
The album will have 11 tracks.
— We already know 3 of it : “This Is Love“, “I’m A million” and “Pure Love” (in Korean version) —
Regarding the 8 other unreleased tracks :
They are about criticisme on war and environemental pollution, and also talks about individual conflicts.
They have various hopeful messages, for instance that we can’t live on our own and have to lean on each other.
There’s a song called Handstand. It’s a song about life. Because once we die, we are all going to the same place, so why do we need to try so hard ?Why don’t we turn the world upside down, just for a day ?
Regarding the album cover, he created a live sketch of what he would like it to look like, and we can translate the overall theme as “reverse balance” or “balance of the opposites …”.
It will have as guiding idea the words:
War / Hope
Sky / Earth
Flowers / Wind
Love / Luck
Curious and interesting his balance choice for certain words…
