Two Crossett police officers were fired after allegedly stealing milk from a school.

The Crossett Police Chief, J. W. Cruce, says the two officers are seen on surveillance video coming into one of the district's schools through an open window and took one carton of milk.

The superintendent says they took the milk from Crossett Middle School.

Chief Cruce says the men were on duty at the time. He also said there was no sign of damage or vandalism.

The Crossett Police Department has made the decision to send the case file to the prosecutor for review of possible criminal charges.

The chief also requested the decertification of the two officers and is starting the process of replacing the officers.
