Actress Ku Hye-sun, 31, and actor Ahn Jae-hyeon, 28, have announced they will get married on May 21.
“We have decided to spend the rest of our lives together as partners,” the couple announced in a joint statement released by Ku and Ahn’s agencies YG Entertainment and HB Entertainment, respectively, on Friday.
“We are learning from each other what it means to ‘live for another person’ during our time together, and wish to continue to respect each other’s values,” the statement added.
“We have decided to spend the rest of our lives together as partners,” the couple announced in a joint statement released by Ku and Ahn’s agencies YG Entertainment and HB Entertainment, respectively, on Friday.
“We are learning from each other what it means to ‘live for another person’ during our time together, and wish to continue to respect each other’s values,” the statement added.
The wedding will be a private ceremony with only family members attending, while the saved wedding expenses will be donated to a children’s hospital, Ahn’s modeling agency Esteem Entertainment said.
In March, Ku and Ahn admitted to being romantically involved for a year. Ahn’s agency said at the time that the relationship had begun after the end of “Blood,” a TV series in which the two actors played a couple. The series, which featured Ahn as a vampire surgeon and Ku as a wunderkind physician, aired on KBS2 from Feb. 16 to April 21, 2015.
