Tiger Poaching: Changing the Mind

Tiger Poaching: Changing the Mind

Humans are the most noteworthy predators of tigers around the world. However illegal poaching is a major threat to the tigers in Bangladesh, we need to find the psychology behind these killings. Do the poachers kill tigers for livelihood or for surviving own-self? If for livelihood, is there any opportunity to initiate a project that will motivate them to change their livelihood earning, i.e, an entrepreneurial project that will create job for them? For this, we need to know the supply chain of the poachers. Conversely, if they kill for surviving from tiger attack, what else we can do such like VTRTs?

Likewise, we have heard many stories about tiger-hunters like Jim Corbett, but, how many of us have made a story on how a tiger saved a man from a leopard attack in Mexico? How many stories have been made on tiger-saving activities going on around the world? What if we start collecting those stories and inveigling mass and print media to publish those?

We need different energies in different situations. Tiger-Sloth –Swan, many believes that these are the signs of humans’ body, mind and heart energy. Agile, swift, responsiveness we need while doing things in many challenging events of our lives. These are the momentum we can learn from the tiger clans. What if we start teaching and coaching these to our next generation that will create awareness among them to think about why we need tigers in this earth?
