What did you learn from Tom & Jerry?

What did you learn from Tom & Jerry?

Important Lessons Learnt From Tom & Jerry:

Huge thanks to William Hanna and Joseph Barbera for adding a very beautiful element and making our childhood awesome by creating one of our favourite and iconic cartoon characters ever. Especially for the kids of 90s’, it was one of the best things happened to us. Tom & Jerry didn’t only entertain us but they also taught us many lessons from friendship to passion.

Lesson #1:

YOUR SIZE DOES NOT MATTER:

Jerry was a very small creature in front of Tom but Jerry was also an undefeated champ and always played out Tom with his intelligence, determination and potential. We should never ever underestimate our opponent or anyone looking at their size or assuming they are small or powerless.

Lesson #2:

CONFIDENCE IS THE KEY:

Jerry eventually wins and brims with confidence. He knows very well how to break away from all the obstacles regardless of how many times he stumbles on it. Self-confidence is the most attractive quality a person can have, how can anyone see how great you are if you can’t see it yourself.

Lesson #3:

NEVER GIVE UP:

Jerry has always won over Tom by doing simple things. However hard trap Tom spread for Jerry he will always use his brains to get away from it. And then the next mischief is planned and the circle keeps on going. Also, Tom never successfully caught Jerry but still he never gave up upon his dream and kept working hard and preparing more concrete plans. Are we at least equally passionate about our goals? Just think about it.

Lesson #4:LEARN FROM FAILIURS:

One of the biggest lessons Tom & Jerry taught me was we should always keep learning and life is a never ending learning platform. If you notice carefully, Tom will never use the same techniques to catch Jerry. He failed before, but he only came to know that these tricks will not work. Keep learning, keep trying and keep growing.

Lesson #5:

BIG JOYS LIES IN LITTLE THINGS:

I think most of us had observed this that Tom & Jerry always created worse situations for each other, but also had each other’s back to face common enemy and whenever they needed it. In fact they were seen often celebrating little victories. Hence, try and be happy and learn to enjoy the moment. Worry less and never cry until required. Someone very close to me told me once that we should enjoy the little things in life because one day we’ll look back and realise that those were the big things.

Lesson #6:

YOU ALWAYS HAVE AN OPTION:

Every time Tom thinks he has trapped Jerry, the mouse out of nowhere shows up and defeats the cat with his tricks. Hence, even if the opponent feels he has won, there are still chances of making that one last move to seal the win. There are always opportunities hidden behind the complex situations. Sometimes, take a pause, take one step back, look at situation with different angles & lenses and you might find the solution.

Lesson #7:

HAVE FUN:

Tom & Jerry are such an iconic character that, even today people get inspired by their friendship and relationship. We have heard this from many people that our friendship is like “Tom & Jerry.” Some people use hashtags #Tom&Jerry #FriendshipGoals on social media in the caption of the picture with their friends. Hate people to ruin your own life, but you can always irritate your friends to make your life more fun and happening.

Tag your friend with whom you have a friendship like Tom & Jerry and tell them that how much you love them even after those small fights and memorable moments. Today, don’t forget to irritate your best friend and also tell them that this friendship means a lot to you.

Thank you for your Time & Positive Energy!
