During a social media interaction, 2PM sensation Nichkhun Horvejkul received numerous requests from fans to join the Guilty challenge.

SHINee’s Taemin made a long-awaited comeback to music following a hiatus of two years and five months due to his military service. His return brought a surprise for fans as the South Korean artist released a mini album titled Guilty. The album’s debut triggered a frenzy among listeners, as people started doing the Guilty challenge. The singers’ fanbase began showing off their versions of a particular step from the album’s choreography, where Taemin is shown lifting his shirt.

This movement quickly garnered attention, prompting several K-pop idols to participate. During a social media interaction, 2PM sensation Nichkhun Horvejkul received numerous requests from fans to join the challenge. Amusingly, the artist was unaware of the trend and he immediately searched for it. After understanding what the challenge was all about, Nichkhun humorously declined to complete the challenge and expressed regret for not knowing about it earlier.

As soon as he started watching the music video, the artist realised he wouldn’t be able to perform it and said, “I feel like this guy is too sexy. I don’t think I can handle that.” Later when Nichkhun saw Taemin lifting his shirt, the singer jokingly said, “I don’t think I can pull that off. Yeah, I can’t. I can’t do that. I’m not that good. You guys are so mean..”

While 2PM’s Nichkhun Horvejkul kindly declined to partake in the Guilty challenge, NCT’s Mark and Taeyong, alongside BTS’s Jimin, delighted their fans by showcasing their dance moves.

Earlier, in an interview with My Music Taste, Taemin shed light on Guilty’s preparation and revealed, “Throughout the preparation of this album, I found myself delving deep into my past, reflecting on my life’s journey. I embarked on a profound self-discovery journey to present a more mature and refined version of myself. I believe this album encapsulates both the familiar aspects of my identity and introduces new elements.”

As per reports, Taemin initially presented the song to his fellow SHINee members before their Don’t Call Me promotions. However, they advised that the song should be his solo release. Taemin expressed that the song held a deep and significant meaning, leading him to feel a personal connection with it.
