IU Tops iTunes Charts All Over The World With "The Winning"

IU has made a splash on the international iTunes charts with her latest release!

On February 20 at 6 p.m. KST, IU made her long-awaited return with her new mini album “The Winning,” which features the double title tracks “Holssi” and “Shopper.” Immediately upon its release, the mini album soared to the top of iTunes charts in various countries across the globe.

By the morning of February 21 KST, “The Winning” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 15 different regions, including Brazil, Denmark, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Mongolia, and more.

IU also swept the No. 1 spot on domestic realtime music charts—including Melon (both the Top 100 and Hot 100), Genie, and Bugs—with songs from “The Winning.”
