Look what happened to Bill Cosby when he ran off the plantation.

I mean, this was very much an open secret in Hollywood just as much as Weinstein and Cosby. I haven't heard of anything illegal she's done, but I've heard nothing from insiders over there that she's a massive count to her staff behind closed doors. They say she made Letterman's treatment of his staff look like Fred Rogers, but at least Letterman was open about it.

I keep trying to wake people up regarding the bizarre fact that Ellen DeGeneres, a mediocre comedienne with a trivial daytime talkshow, nonetheless somehow managed to procure the only interview with the Mandalay Bay security guard who encountered Stephen Paddock the night of the biggest mass-murder shooting in America's history (not to mention that the interview was choreographed better than the Rocky Balboa/Clubber Lang fight).

But, I've given up on trying to make people SEE how insane that was."You can lead a horse to water.....

I think Ellen’s downfall has more to do with being a massive cünt than sitting next to dubya at cowboys game.

She replaced the existing crew for her show with a smaller non-union one to do the show at her house.

I agree with you that her show was (is?) popular, but it's still a meaningless daytime talk show. The point is, HOW did a mediocre comedienne wind up getting the only interview with that security guard?

That would've been like Jerry Lewis getting the only interview with Julius and Ethel Rosenberg circa 1952.

She wasn't the same sort of jerk until after the period of sustained success at The Ellen Show, from what I understand. One of my best friends worked at the Warner Bros lot when Ellen filmed there, and I think he says many of the stories of abuse are from the past ten years.
