Infinity pools around the world have taken over Instagram feeds, evoking travel envy to those who are homebound. However, we don't have to venture far – because Singapore is home to the highest infinity pool in the world. No points for guessing which hotel it can be found in. But besides the iconic Marina Bay Sands, there are many other beautiful infinity pools overlooking views of the Singapore skyline – from hotels and even an exclusive gym. You will have to be a hotel guest or gym member, but it's all worth it with these breathtaking views from the best infinity pools in Singapore.

Marina Bay Sands' infinity pool is an attraction in itself. A glitzy photo posted on the 'gram is akin to a status symbol, especially since it's probably one of the world's most Instagrammed hotels. Perched on the 57th floor of the Moshe Safdie architectural marvel, it is the largest and highest infinity pool of any other skyline in the world. Make a splash in the 150m-long swimming pool or sit under the poolside loungers under the shade of the palm trees while looking out to the surrounding skyscrapers. You'll have to be a hotel guest, though.

Probably the most exclusive gym in the city, Gravity's club membership is capped at 999 places. The two-storey gym provides elevated views of Marina Bay and the CBD as you swim and rub shoulders with the corporate elites in the temperature-controlled outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. Coupled with a massive indoor gym space packed with cutting-edge cardio and strength equipment for personal training, a ‘breeze-controlled’ yoga deck that channels the wind so you can hum your oms in comfort, do you need another reason to sign up? We think not.

Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore's infinity pool is surrounded by futuristic skyscrapers that look like it is part of a sci-fi movie. We love that the luxurious hotel and serviced apartment blends urban sophistication with nature-inspired elements, offering a safe refuge from the chaos of city living.

Have a change of scenery at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa, boasting a mesmerising infinity pool that seemingly merges with the South China Sea. The SkyPool is only one of four swimming pools on the property; there's also the Larkhill Terrace Pool, an exclusive infinity pool with unbelievable views, reserved for guests of Larkhill Terrace Suites. So you know what to do.

Naumi Hotel is a gorgeous boutique property in the city centre – but it's also home to a great infinity pool that we think should be given more credit. Take in Singapore's skyline, with majestic historical buildings contrasting against glistening skyscrapers, from the rooftop pool and bar of Naumi Hotel. Cloud 9 Infinity Pool and Bar is a picturesque spot to unwind with alfresco drinks at the heart of Seah Street.
