On our 15 acres nestled against peaceful lush mountains and bordered by natural streams running through the back of the resort, we have built 9 villas. Each villa has its own private deck furnished with a day bed, hammock, BBQ grill and dining table. Guests can enjoy the panoramic scene of our sheep farm and mountains through huge mirror-windows even while lying down on the heavenly soft beds. The resort exudes a Mediterranean ambience, boasting a genuinely private getaway with natural surroundings and a sheep farm. With the greatest of intentions to bring guests into a truly new environment for relaxing, this unique sheep farm represents our best effort. Each of our villas is named after a sheep’s breed and their meal, grass and nut. Besides the unique resort, we also provide variety of activities fit to all family ages; for example, carnival games, DIY handicraft activities, our pride "The scenery Sheep & Dog Show" being no.1 in SE.A., restaurant, souvenir shops, sheep milk ice-cream and diaries and so on.

Detailed Reviews
Previously this resort had accommodations but it recently stopped accepting overnight guests and changed to an activities resort. For 40 Thai Baht (approx. US$1.30) (20 Baht for kids) you can feed and pet the sheep and for very small additional amounts you can enjoy other activities like archery, horse-riding, and carnival games. A nice place to visit if you're in the Suan Phueng area, which is about 3 hours drive from Bangkok. Many accommodations of different price ranges are available in the area.

I am glad to know that its resort section is re-opened again after a closing since 2011. This time I've traveled with a group of 10 people (adults and kids) on December 2014 and we stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights.
I stayed in Jacuzzi type villa. Its exterior and interior are great with a bunch of facilities such as a huge sofa bed, TV, free WiFi, pantry, working table, and super huge bathroom including roof top area where I can see a yard with a herd of sheep/cow, pony and goose.
In front of the resort area, there are activities zone e.g. feeding a sheep, archery training, outdoor games where we spent one day for such activities (no additional charge for resort's guest). But what i love the most is biking. They have some bikes for rent and their staff willing to suggest you safety route within the area.
The restaurant is now move to the back area of the resort in order to avoid flies problem. I think it is better than before. It was not crowned and the food was acceptable but a bit pricey.
Only negative comment was a resort's service due to lacking of men-power. Before that they set their standard as high but now i felt that it was too far from that. I hope that they just need more times to reach that high again.

Dear K.Kritinun Thanks so much for your fruitful comments and so terribly sorry for this very late response. We are planning to re-open the resort zone officially mid year 2015, it's now under renovating and settling "customer experience" to any possible touch points. So as to now until the day comes, just exactly as you mentioned, the man power problem is one of our biggest obstacles because the staff are rotating to serve one-day trip customers. That's why we make sure guests understand our limitations currently should they wish to stay during this time. And I'm so greatful you do understand so. We will definitely take your comments to prepare the better re-opening and we'll ensure you enjoy your next stay with us. Please stay tuned! Best Regards, Management Executive : The Scenery Vintage Farm

I really can't fault this place. The staff were very, very friendly and professional, the accommodation was very comfortable with lots of little personal touches eg. the beer in the mini bar was a quality german beer at supermarket prices, a dock for an ipod so that we could play our own music in the room and breakfast was made with quality fresh produce including bbq Chiang Mai sausages and pork steaks. Sensational. The girls serving the meals even spoke good English.
add all the activities like feeding sheep etc and this place is an ideal place for families.

Second visit to this place in as many years. Chief activity there: watching Thai families and couples from Bangkok take pictures of each other in front of every sculpture, door, window, bench, sheep and sign. If this is your bag, go for it.
We did not stay overnight and so can not comment on accommodations but we did attempt to get a meal in the open air restaurant. A real mistake. Wildly overpriced and as another reviewer noted below . .fly heaven! These are no ordinary flies . . they are aggressive and will share your food with you despite all attempts to ward them off. Maybe something to do with the nearby sheep?
They offer an extensive menu of Thai and western food. They dont tell you this, but the western menu is not available. They cheerfully took our order for pasta . . .forty-five minutes later we finally gave up and walked out pasta-less. Nobody cared.
For a MUCH nicer experience if you are in the area and needing to feed sheep is Bellissimo on the left as you drive through the Suan Peung area. Interesting buildings, fewer sheep, fewer tourists and a very nice little coffee shop with excellent pastry.

A very nice built up farm in Ratchaburi, Thailand. A lot of sheeps that you can feed and pet. Very nice surroundings and with small shops and a train that can take you on a tour around the area. This place is a well worth place to stop if going nearby.

The room reservation is really hard as such a long booking through months, but it really worthed!! Such a lovely and humble place to escape from chaotic city in just a few hours driving. The small individual cottages offering us privacy and tranquility.
Try sitting along the river and sipping your afternoon tea with good book, the moment will totally vanish your fatique from hard work/life.
Beside it's photogenic landscape and interior; room, service, and meals are undoubtedly fantastic as reputed by many. Lovely space and functional reflect the intelligence of owner/designer. This is the unique living space one would ask for.

This is a place where lots of Local knows about it but not the foreigner.
After reading about this place, Me and my wife decided to stay there for our honeymoon and boy did we enjoy the whole experience.
The place is situated about 3hours drive from Bangkok airport but the journey did not feel long at all. We rented a car because at rough calculation a cab would cost about 3,000 baht per way so renting car would make much more sense.
The whole scenery is decorated with the theme of english countryside. This is probably very common to the westerners but coming from a tropical country like me, This is more than what we could bargain for. I would say it is more like setting of New Zealand with all the sheeps.
The service that they gave were top notch, Always willing to fetch us around the compound with their golf car even when we're just 50 steps away. We turn off the aircond in the morning and after room service, they turn it on again. This is really superb because most resort will ask you to switch it off when not in used.
There are lots of local tourist that comes to the resort to see and feed the sheep all day long but rest assured that they will not disturb you because they ensure that privacy within the staying compound. is private.
There are lots of activity in the resort, not sure about kayaking, But there are sauna room, jacuzi pool and a river, You can feed the sheep all day, or do some archery (All free for stay-in guest) And that's pretty much it. There's not much activity going on the outside of the resort, Bare in mind they are located in the midst of villages, English is very much non-existence.
There is a waterfall nearby about 5 km away which you also can check it out, There's a hot spring as well, but IMHO skip this because it is not really worth it. 80baht to just bathe in a not so hot swimming pool.
Please do bring some DVD along as they have DVD player in the villa so you can enjoy. Of course you can also buy some on the way.
They have free wifi in every villa and also a free internet at the lobby, ALthough it is just a single computer but you'll have time to play it. This place is good for relaxation and nothing much.

Absolutely best place to stay in Suan Phung, Ratchaburi province. It's a small cozy resort, privately owned and managed. Very friendly and attentive staff, from the reservation to the check-in and during the whole stay. It's actually more than a resort, it's a farm, a sheep farm. All houses are different, but all of them have a private roof top for a nice BBQ. The resort is in the Suan Phung mountains a bit more than a 2 hours drive from Bangkok. Could recommend it for a short stay as activities are limited, but there is also a stream, Jaccuzzi pool and much more. Please book well in advance as weekend are always booked up. As they were full we had to move to "La Toscana" for the second night which is nice on the internet but they still have much room to improve. Another option would be the just opened "Swiss Valley".

The farm is pretty normal in general, with lots of sheep and activities for you to do. The hotel rooms are also very good, the bathroom is huge, taking up about 1/3 of the house. Some rooms have a private jacuzzi pool, and a sauna. The biggest room has 2 queen sized beds and the whole place in very good. Upon request, there is a barbecue on the room of the house, so you can order some meat and have a great dinner with your family and friends.
