The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has announced that a new baby pygmy slow loris has been born.
According to a post on Facebook, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo officials say mom, Nova and dad, Asiago are "doing great as first-time parents."
The birth of the baby is extra special for the Zoo as pygmy slow lorises are listed as an endangered species. The birth also helps the Zoo population try to maintain the sustainability of the species.
Anyone who wants to visit the new baby can come to the Primate, Cat and Aquatics building during regular zoo hours.
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open Monday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets for the zoo can be purchased HERE.
