• Kelly Ripa just dropped two new Instagram Stories on her feed—and you just gotta watch them.
  • In the new Stories, the 51-year-old Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host is crushing a seriously intense booty workout with trainer Anna Kaiser. And wow, Kelly's abs and booty are on fire.
  • But what exactly does Kelly do to stay that fit? Well, she does HIIT-based dance workouts with Kaiser at least four times a week. Plus, she does barre too!

Kelly Ripa is ridiculously fit—that’s just a fact of life, like the sky being blue. But sometimes Kelly drops a little reminder here and there that’ll totally blow you away.

Case in point: A new series of Instagram Stories where the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host is totally crushing it at the gym. In the first video, the 51-year-old is doing leg lifts while she’s on all fours while clutching a dumbbell in one hand. Her trainer Anna Kaiser can be heard cheering her on in the background, saying, “Booty! Booty! Gorgeous!”

Kelly Ripa, 51, crushes a booty workout in her latest IG Story.

“It’s not as hard as I make it look but @theannakaiser is pretty impressed,” Kelly wrote. The next Story is a shot of Kelly posing next to Anna under the words “accountability post.” Cool, cool. But, when you really look at Kelly, you can see that she’s rocking a seriously impressive six-pack. Like, you could grate cheese on that.

So what, exactly, is Kelly doing to get those abs of steel? Well, it’s more like what isn’t she doing. For starters, Kelly is huge on dance-based workouts, which she usually does with Kaiser, aka the founder of Anna Kaiser Studios. Kaiser’s workouts blend dance and HIIT for an intense exercise that gives you all-over tone. “The best thing about the marriage of dance and HIIT is that you’re moving on multiple planes of motion and you’re having fun,” Kaiser previously told Women’s Health. “You really need to focus on different types of muscular contractions and angles, not just on getting through exercises for the sake of feeling a burn. If you do the same motions over and over, you’re not going to get the full benefit.”

Kelly is also super dedicated to her workouts, making a point to get her sweat on four to five days a week, usually in 60- to 90-minute sessions with Kaiser.

But Kelly and Kaiser don’t ~just~ do dance-based workouts. They’re also big on barre (which has a serious rep for building muscle tone) and using resistance bands. “We love that contraction and how that feels,” Kaiser told People of using the bands.

As for those abs? Kelly makes a point to work all areas of her core. "Every exercise we do works your full core—the butt, the abs, and the back—at the same time," Kaiser said. "If you’re training functionally, you’re hitting those muscles from all planes of motion."

While Kelly has some pretty jacked muscles to show for all of her hard work, she’s made it clear that she gets more than tone out of those workouts. “There are a lot of people that don’t have to work out, and I am so happy for them, but I have to work out for my body type,” she told People. “It’s part of my routine. It’s part of my ritual. It doesn’t just make me look better, but it makes me emotionally feel better.”
