Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently grabbed headlines when she launched her debut book titled Kareena Kapoor's Pregnancy Bible. She penned down her thoughts and her journey of welcoming two boys with her husband Saif Ali Khan and how different it was to go through the pregnancy and the breastfeeding process after it. She made many surprising revelations in the book including the fact that Taimur Ali Khan was an abrupt cesarean.

She also revealed that she was not able to breastfeed Taimur Ali Khan when he was born. Kareena also mentioned that it was not the case when baby Jeh was born as it was a smooth process.

In her book she penned, "Taimur was an abrupt Caesarean. I literally had no milk for over 14 days. I was completely dry. My mom and my nurse would be hovering by my side, pressing at my boobs and wondering why 'it' wasn't happening". However, it wasn’t the same during Jeh’s birth as Kareena shared, "(During Jeh's birth), I had much better flow and did manage to nurse him. I'll admit it - breastfeeding him (and doing it exclusively for a few weeks) felt like an achievement!"

Last month, Kareena wrote a long note explaining her journey of book-writing. She penned, "This has been quite the journey… both my pregnancies and writing my Pregnancy Bible. There were good days and bad days; some days I was raring to go to work and others where I struggled to get out of bed. This book is a very personal account of what I experienced both physically and emotionally through both my pregnancies. In many ways, this book is like my third child… from conception to its birth today. Published by @juggernaut.in and the amazing @chikisarkar, I’m proud to share that my Pregnancy Bible is vetted and approved by FOGSI, India's official body of gynecologists and obstetricians, along with the help of several expert voices like @rujuta.diwekar, Dr. Sonali Gupta, and Dr. Prabha Chandra of NIMHANS."

On the work front, Kareena will be next seen in Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.
