• i’ve always loved this concept, unrequited love on another level. some characters would be in denial, such as ukraine, latvia, portugal or prussia. their delusions would worsen as they try to convince themselves their darling is just trying to scare them off or playing hard to get. then there’s yandere’s like england, china, norway and austria who would all percieve this immediately as a manipulation tactic to ward them off, not funny darling, not funny at all. the more self aware yandere’s, germany, sweden, vietnam and greece for example, would all understand their darlings true nature, and aim to redirect their intense affections toward themselves. there are characters like belarus, belgium, spain and russia who would be understanding of their darling, but that doesn’t mean they’ll just back off. then there’s also characters who would find this exciting, denmark, hungary, estonia and turkey would be up for the chase of winning their darlings affections, their intense love would only make them more enticing. however the worst yandere this darling could land is an insecure one, romano, canada, lithuania or iceland, these guys would be absolutely infuriated, crushed or both.

AMERICA

• as for mr. america, he’d fall into the denial category at first, he’s the hero and their his sidekick, they can’t obsess over someone else!?. it takes a while for him to internally accept it, they’re his sweet, innocent, lovely, couldn’t hurt a fly darli- oh look they just pushed the guy who flirted with their darling out of a window.

• it hurts him so much, why can’t they just love him! he’s the one who loves them more then anything, why can’t they see that! oh well, maybe if they see how well he can take care of them, then they’ll realise who they should be obsessing over.

𝒴𝒜𝒩𝒟𝐸𝑅𝐸 𝒜𝐿𝐿𝐼𝐸𝒮 𝒳 𝐹𝒪𝒪𝒟 𝑅𝐸𝐹𝒰𝒮𝐼𝒩𝒢 𝑅𝐸𝒜𝒟𝐸𝑅

AMERICA

• he’s confused, why wouldn’t you want to eat?. alfred is just so so confused with his darling. food is great why don’t they want to eat it?. he takes a while to catch on, going above and beyond to present his darling with delicious cuisine that will hopefully peak their interest, although he really wishes they’d like burgers as much as he does.

• this can go on for weeks, in that time alfred will have to force feed his darling, without realising that they’re up to. honestly if they play along like its a real eating disorder he may get a professional in for them, and then they’ll have their chance to escape. america is a food lover himself, so will naturally be very concerned if his darling isn’t eating properly.

ENGLAND

• he’s quick to shut his darlings attempts down, arthur had already considered all the things his darling would do to escape, food abstinance being one of them. arthur wouldn’t immediately force his darling into eating, the opposite actually. if they don’t want to eat then he won’t waste his time bringing them food.

• he’s not going to beg his darling to eat or force feed them at all, he’ll patiently wait as his darling succumbs to starvation and asks for food. england will use this as an opportunity to show his darling how rebellious actions will get them no where, so it’s best to just behave themselves.

CANADA

• matthew is more upset about this then he lets on, he see’s it as his darling telling him they want to leave him, which is what they’re saying, but he’s just so infuriated that another person wants to leave him. he thought you were different. matthew really doesn’t do anything but sulk for the first few days. whether this is a manipulation tactic or he’s truly that sad is debatable.

• he’ll eventually pull himself together, and deduct that his darling just needed to spend more time with him, then they’d be want to stay with him and eat. you’ll do everything together for the next few weeks. if canada still has to beg and force feed his darling after a few months, he’s going to get very mad, it’s best for his darling to think of a different way to escape.

FRANCE

• francis probably has one of the most emotional reactions, by the second time his darling refuses dinner, he’ll be begging them to just have a bite. as a yandere that wants his darling to be safe and healthy, their food abstinance will get to him. he’ll offer them the most delicious food possible, if they manage to resist the cuisine he offers them, then thats a miracle in itself.

• if presenting them with a multitude of options doesn’t work, if begging and guilting doesn’t work, then he’ll resort to force feedimg them. it breaks france’s heart when he has to make his darling eat, but he can’t have them starving themselves, not at all.

RUSSIA

• when the baltics report to him that his darling isn’t eating the food he so graciously provides them, he’s immediately thinks it’s because they don’t like the food, no worries! a homemade dinner from ivan should do the trick!. when they reject that, he becomes very angry, and immediately resorts to force feeding. if his darling continues to be a brat, then he’ll leave them in their room with no food at all.

• if his darling isn’t careful this could end with them starved to death, or in a state of eternal hunger pains if they’re a country. whilst russia doesn’t intend for his darling to starve to death, he sometimes forgets how fragile humans can be. their situation will continously worsen, if they’re still stubborn, there’s a small chance russia might resort to bribery, but this is only if years pass.

CHINA

• yao is confused at first, people need food to survive, sure his darlings situation might not be ideal, but risking their own healthy because of it?, his darlings behaviour seems ridiculous to him. yao is a culinary master, and will cook them up mountains of mouth watering food to eat, he’s genuinely surprised if they refuse that, and a bit offended, his cuisine is the best cuisine, why doesn’t his darling like it?.

• in short he’s a confused old man, but that won’t stop him from forcing his darling to eat, their health is his main priority, and he’s not going to let anyone, even themselves, prevent him from keeping them healthy and safe.

𝒴𝒜𝒩𝒟𝐸𝑅𝐸 𝒜𝐿𝐿𝐼𝐸𝒮 𝒳 𝐿𝐸𝒮𝐵𝐼𝒜𝒩 𝒟𝒜𝑅𝐿𝐼𝒩𝒢

AMERICA

• shock and hopelessness is what alfred feels immediately after finding out his darlings sexuality, he’s gone through all this effort to get her to love him, and it turns out she can’t?. it stings less then if she rejected him because she just didn’t like him, but it hurts nonetheless. alfred will be accepting outwardly, but on the inside he’ll be convincing himself that you’re just experimenting, right?!.

• he’ll never let his darling get with anyone else that isn’t him, he won’t kill, no, that’s not what heroes do. besides if his darling can realise that he’s the only one for her, how everyone else will backstab and leave her, then that will just make him all the more appealing, hopefully. in short either america is successful in convincing his darling that she’s at least bisexual, or trying to convince her from his basement.

ENGLAND

• once again, arthur never believes what he hears immediately, you’re lesbian?, no you just think this will get him off you’re tail, no love, it won’t. he’s quick to tell you to cut the crap, but once he realises you’re serious, his tactics change. he’ll sit you down and apologise for his impertinence, all whilst suggesting that you shouldn’t be too hasty about coming to such quick conclusions about your identity.

• you’ll attempt to court several women, all of which failing, either you’re rejected or the women end up being absolutely nasty, and the only person that seems to be truly accepting of you is england, if you don’t fall into his arms of you’re own accord, then an arranged marriage or love potion should do the trick.

CANADA

• matthew is one of the few who wouldn’t shut you’re sexuality down internally, of course he is upset that you won’t be in a relationship with him, but he accepts it and won’t try to change you. what he won’t accept is you whoring around. you can have only matthew, either as you partner or best friend, he won’t tolerate you having anyone else in your life, after all, he does the same for you doesn’t he?.

• if agree you only having matthew in your life, there will be no snapping or bloodbaths, however in the more likely scenario you wish to surround yourself with a healthy support system including a partner, then you can kiss your freedoms goodbye. after the pigs you called your friends and family are taken care of, matthew will move you into his house. one moment he’ll be accepting of you and the next forcing you out on dates to try and turn you canadasexual. a bipolar-like yandere, once he’s snapped you’ll wish you had never even met him.

FRANCE

• you’re lesbian? no problem mon amour!. if you think something as small as your gender preference will deter mr france then you are sorely mistaken. and gender change surgeries do exist you know!. francis is accepting of his darling, although he will not at all stop perusing them, instead he’ll focus on the romantic side of love, something he believes can be universal if done the right way.

• if he can’t spark even a little bit of romantic love as a man, it will start to really hurt him, he does everyone for you why do you only care about his body!?, he might end up guilt tripping you into a romantic relationship, but he’ll always respect you’re physical boundaries. however that doesn’t mean he’ll let you go out and see someone other then him, no, france loves you too much to let another have you.

RUSSIA

• as said before, ivan really couldn’t give a rats ass about his darlings sexuality, he loves you and you’re going to love him, there’s no need for fancy words like ‘homosexual’, 'lesbian’ or 'no’ between you two.

• you were getting kidnapped even if you were devoted to him, he’s just too possessive to let you walk around freely where someone could try to take you away. no matter how you try to explain your preference to him, he won’t see it as anything else but an obstacle to get past. you’ll go out on lavish 'dates’ with mother russia, if you can call watching a bunch or heteronormative movies with the corpse of one of the women you said you were interested in rotting in the corner a date. russia will really try to be patient with you, but be warned that with each rejection of his affections it wears thinner and thinner.

CHINA

• yao out of all of them probably acts the sanest, well as sane as a yandere can act. he’s disappointed of course, but he doesn’t need physical intimacy, and he knows for a fact he can find a way to at least cultivate a semi-romantic relation with you. yao likely will never address your homosexuality, honestly he might be cool with sharing you with vietnam or taiwan, yandere or not.

• he might be accepting but don’t fool yourself into thinking you can just get away with anything. you won’t be allowed with anyone he doesn’t approve of, which is pretty much everyone not in his own family, and he’ll have an iron grip on your life. it’s best you sit back and let him take care of you, china is the last yandere you want to see truly mad.

AMERICA

• alfred didn’t think it was possible to hate someone as much as he hates your husband. that repugnant man is lucky enough to be married to someone as lovely as his darling, and he isn’t even grateful. and what irritates him more is that no matter what he does, you cannot be seduced.

• whilst he admires your loyalty and morals, he despises that you’d be so faithful to someone who’d probably cheat on you given the chance. wait, cheat on you… alfred is a yandere who will elect to sabotage before murder, he’d rather his rival suffer then be granted quick death. being the powerful country he is, creating a few lies about your spouse is easier than cracking an egg.

• you’ll soon find out that your husband has been cheating on you for years, giving his heart and soul to others whilst you have been left in the dark. if you still won’t leave your husband at this point, then alfred will be forced to take drastic measures.

• the news of your husbands death could be a shameful relief or an upsetting heartbreak, america won’t give you any time to mourn as he whisks you away to his home, from now on he won’t let anyone mistreat you, even if he has to use some underhanded methods to get you to see his point of view. but if you do, america will soften up, he may even start to believe your husband never even existed, and attempt to live normally with you.

ENGLAND

• calm and collected on the outside as his insides burned with rage. no matter what he said, what he did, his darling insisted on staying with that mongrel, when there’s a gentleman like him willing to take you in and treat you in the respectful way you deserve, won’t do, that won’t do at all.

• if only your unwavering loyalty could be directed at him, that’s all he could wish for. someone who would stay by his side despite his vices. he may have become obsessed with you for this reason alone. arthur is a lonely nation, so many have left him, and meeting a person as faithful as you would he a breath of fresh air. he’s impressed with your unresponsiveness to his attempts at seduction, but after a while he gets impatient

• while he doesn’t want to dirty his own hands, your husbands actions are unacceptable, but murder isn’t gentlemanly, so he decides to take the america route. suddenly your co workers give you sad looks as you pass them, your in laws are aloof and standoffish, even your own family seems odd. then you return home to find your husband in another’s arms, accusing you of neglecting and abusing him. no one believes the true story, no one, except arthur.

• you have no choice but to depend on england for comfort, and as your husband disappears off the face of the earth after you sign the divorce papers, beginning a relationship with him would not at all be against your morals anymore. but if you insist of rejecting him, then he can always make you a nice convicing cup of tea, and then you wonder why you ever waited so long to leave your ex-husband.

CANADA

• matthew may just be the most infuriated, with mostly your husband, but partly you. for having so little respect for yourself that you’d stay with such a putrid man, especially when held right there, ready to be the perfect partner for you. so stop being so stubborn and leave your husband already, eh?.

• he’s another manipulative yandere, he works his way into your heart with sweet words of distraction from your husband. he’s your supportive friend who regularly encourages you to leave him, that there are better people out there for you. he can come across as passive aggressive as he mentions his issues with your husband, how silly you are for staying with him, but you brush it off as him being socially awkward.

• if he can’t convince you to leave your husband no matter what, or you reprimand him for trying to seduce you, he’ll snap. he’s a yandere who can be driven to the edge quite easily, but you won’t realise until it’s too late. and oneday you get a call saying your husband and his family have been in a fatal car crash, and has passed away.

• as you mourn he’ll be there to comfort you, attempting to initiate a relationship as you slowly begin to get over him. he’s patient at waiting for you to be ready for another relationship, he can probably tolerate just being your friend, as long as you never forget him, but if you start one with someone else. well you won’t be seeing the light of day for a long time.

FRANCE

• a delusional yandere, francis will have convinced himself that this whole ordeal was an arranged marriage, your husband neglects you because he has another love, and you just wish to make whoever arranged this marriage happy. oh what a selfless darling you are, sacrificing your own happiness for other peoples wishes. but francis is here now, and will support you in anyway you require, so hurry up and divorce your husband, and let this chapter of life be behind you!.

• he won’t understand why you refuse to be with him, he would treat you like the godly being you are, he would give you the happiest life you could ever live, why is his darling being so difficult?. francis will regularly persue you, there’s no convicing him that you want to stay with your husband of your own accord. it takes the longest for his bubble to burst, but when it does, he’s furious. so your husband wanted to be married to you and then purposefully neglects and abuses you? how dare he. francis won’t tolerate the situation for even a minute.

• in a moment of recklessness, he’ll knock you out and bring you to his place, when he realises what held done, you’ve already woken up and are demanding to know what’s happening. francis will burst into tears, perhaps they’re real or perhaps they’re fake, and beg for forgiveness, explaining that he just wants to take care of you.

• he’s manipulative, but rarely intends to be, france is genuinely upset many of the times, and you can’t help but feel just a little but guilty for making the frenchman who, aside from kidnapping you, had been so sweet. if your husband comes looking for you, france will reluctantly kill him, especially if you still refuse to be with him because of your marriage.

RUSSIA

• ivan is displeased with his darlings reluctance to leave your husband, but maybe you just don’t realise how much better ivan is for you, no worries, he can just take you to live with him, to get a glimpse of what your life could be, and will be from now on.

• you’ll wake up in a different bedroom to the one you fell asleep in pretty quickly, confused as to where you were, you’d attempt to get out of the bed, only to realise you were chained to the bedpost. when ivan comes in and explains why you’re there, you’re quick to reprimand him, insisting on staying with your husband, russia will say nothing, and leave you in the room alone.

• this will continue for weeks, as the only human interaction you get will be with ivan as he comes upstairs each day to feed you, eventually the isolation gets to you, and adultery seems less horrible as it did before. ivan is surprisingly patient, but only with you, downstairs the baltics are getting a beating whenever you refuse his company.

• if it’s because you’re married then you don’t have to worry, russia ended your husbands life when he first kidnapped you. if he see’s you mourning that useless imbecile, then he’ll snap, and your interactions will become more forced. and if even then you reject him, then he might just have to become much stricter with you.

CHINA

• aiyah.. yao will be irritated at his darling for making his life so difficult, he already feel incredibly childish for having one of these silly western obsession, but with you already being in a relationship, this is amplified ten fold.

• at first he attempts to ignore his obsession, hoping it’ll go away with time. perhaps it would have, but when he saw your husband mistreating you, all rationality would have been thrown out the window. he’s not obsessed with you, no, his intuition was just incredibly good. yao would think that he was just worried for you, as a yandere who thinks he’s above being a yandere, this would be the point where he would embrace his obsessive tendancies, seeing them as justified, as you couldn’t even choose a suitable life partner for yourself, you were like a child that needed guidance, and he would be more then happy to provide.

• nevermind if you cannot be seduced away, that just proves that you understand loyalty, a trait he greatly values in not just a partner but anyone close to him. yao will make quick work of your husband, either through ruining his career and reputation, or simply having him killed. but he’ll be there to help you get through it all.

• china will be very pushy in convincing you to move in with him, saying that you’ll need a place to stay without your husband supporting you. he’s one who won’t kidnap you easily, unless you go out and try to start a new relationship, he’ll just show up at your house so often and invite you over to his that you’d might as well be living together. he’s another that won’t force a romantic relationship, as long as you stay single and close to only him, he’s content.

• the only one this would be really true for, so long as his darling is a member of the royal family, is england. and any other country that still operates under monarchy with some exceptions. most of the canon characters with monarchy’s would have their hands tied if they found out their darling was a member, but less democratic countries would have an easier time convincing their bosses to hand over their darling, but would still have to treat them better then a normal civilian darling.

• but since you said bosses, i’m assuming for england you’re talking about the prime minister. and since all of their bosses will eventually leave office, the darling is still, to put it lightly, fucked, but they’ve got some time and resources to get as far away from their yandere as possible

ENGLAND

• a cynical and skeptic man, arthur has learnt that people aren’t always what they seem, he himself is guilty of putting on a gentleman act whilst a much darker persona is held inside. so when he first met his darling, he perceived their sociability as a manipulation tactic rather then a genuine personality trait. his obsession with his darling would have blossomed over him wanting to see their true colours, something about their easy-going nature irritating him.

• he watched them like a hawk as the years went by, he watched and watched, he waited for them to do something to contradict the ‘mask’ they fooled the world with. but they didn’t. it was frustrating for arthur, really, it was too good to be true that there was actually a nice personification out there.

• from the moment he accepts their personality as sincere, arthur would fantasize over being the only person they were that warm with. arthur is a lonely man, with the belief that none of the other personifications were to be fully trusted. yet during the few times he spends with his darling, he felt less cynical of the world.

• it was a feeling he wasn’t prepared to let go of, he wanted his darling all for himself, but when he finally woke up and realised his true feelings, it seemed so many others had the same. but arthur wasn’t the great british empire anymore, he couldn’t make his enemies disappear with the snap of his finger, so what does a stubborn, possessive man with a silver tongue do in this situation? you guessed it, he manipulates. to his darling, he seems like a lonely gentleman who needs a friend, and with their countries seeming to become closer allies, you were happy to be a friend to arthur, he had a certain way with words that would make you wonder why exactly he was so lonely, but darling, you would soon find out.

• suddenly you begin to doubt the people around you, england’s words so convincing you begin to believe that he’s the only one who won’t take your friendliness for granted, cutting the people you previously were close with off, more and more country’s seemed to avoid you, what had you done wrong?, confiding in england, he would plant a kiss on your forehead, if you let him, and tell you none of them had ever been worth your time. by the time you realise what’s really going on, it’s far too late to go back to how you had been before.

RUSSIA

• now, ivan is an entirely different story, he’s desperate for friends, so the minute he meets this new, friendly country, he falls, and he falls hard. another day, another dull meeting, he had heard of a newly independent country, but had only considered it’s resources, accustomed to a centuries long dance of every new person he meets running for the hills once they see or hear the rumours about him, but.. his darling doesn’t? he can’t help but be a bit suspicious, like england he’ll think it’s too good to be true, that american pig is playing a prank on him, da?.

• the moment he returns home from the meeting he’s researching everything about you and your country, are you american ally trying to charm him into giving top secret information?, a german or heck even chinese ally?, as he looks into your history, he notices a tight feeling in his chest, if he finds nothing incriminating on you then you’re fate is sealed there and then, you will belong to mother russia.

• of course, ivan will not tolerate people trying to take away his sunflower, however his boss isn’t going to let him start a war over other personifications flirting with his 'crush’, so all he can do for now is threaten. and threaten he does, one of the italy’s kissed your cheek in greeting?, somehow his face got burned, south korea groped you? he’s not going to be able to use his hands for a long time. god forbid, france tried to seduce you?, the poor frenchman rolled up to the next meeting in a wheelchair. the number of broken bones he had couldn’t even be counted on both hands.

• ivan himself isn’t experienced in matters of romance, there’s a strong chance your his first romantic interest ever, he would ask for frances advice, but the frog faints whenever he goes near him now so he’ll have to settle for mr spain!. but he interperates most of the advice he recieves the wrong way, and you might end up with some creepy ass love letters sent to you, or being followed by russia twenty four seven with just him saying 'become one with mother russia, da?’

• but he won’t quite understand that you don’t appreciate his efforts, and he’s not the most patient when it comes to having his darling come to him on their own, and for that they’ll end up kidnapped quite quickly. russia’s patience is bigger when his darling is safe and sound with him, but everyone has a breaking point, and believe me when I say you don’t want to see russia at his.

GERMANY

• oh great, another italy. all three of them would be skeptical of their darling at first, whilst russia and england would wonder whether you’re behaviour is sincere or not, ludwig would be rather annoyed to have another italy, or america on his hands, and it’s especially irritating that he can’t even yell at you to be quiet and sit down, because another country will come to your immediate aid.

• by far ludwig takes the longest to develop a fondness for you, and by the time he does, all the times he’d yelled at you whilst stressed would have made you wary, perhaps even afraid of him. i think oneday he’d see you with your pet, or just an animal in general and playing or taking care of it, and suddenly he’d start seeing you in another light, as less of a nuisance and more of a person to cherish.

• he’d beat himself up for judging you so quickly, and he’d beat himself up even further for having possessive thoughts about you, his obsession would develop quicker then he would be able to process, he’s self aware enough to know his thoughts aren’t normal, but can’t bring himself to want to stop them.

• he’d try and avoid his darling, and if no one tries to make him closer to you, then he’d become your silent protector, knocking off anyone he doesn’t like and protecting you from the sidelines. but i see it as likely that italy would be a close friend of yours, and want you and germany to get along better. he’s awkward and all he can do is give his rivals the german glare of death, which in and of itself does get most of his rivals to scurry away, but none of that matters since his darling is nervous and on the edge around him. eventually he’ll ask france, or italy, or someone who knows what they’re doing for advice on now to woo you, but like russia he will come across as more weird then charming, he really needs to learn that there is nothing romantic about being woken up by a screaming german at five am to do laps, even if he tries to take you out to brunch afterwards.

• if he can’t become closer to you on his own, then he’ll once again go the political route, arranging a marriage or alliance that will bring you two closer whether you like it or not, he really doesn’t want to kidnap you like some sort of 15th century barbarian, but what choice will he have if the one his heart beats for keeps avoiding him?.

• alfred is probably the best yandere this darling could land, he’s into video games as well, so he’ll definitely understand the appeal. it will take the longest for this habit of theirs to begin to bother him, rather he’ll see it as a way to get closer to them, for a time. he’ll flirt, or whatever you can call his lame attempts at using game humour to charm them, try to sit as close as possible, if they let him he’d full on cuddle them during gaming sessions, alfred really thinks he’s getting somewhere. i say this alot, but he’s a delusional yandere, and by this point will have convinced himself they play these games because they’re too shy to tell him they like him, no problem!, alfred has no problem getting the ball rolling himself!.

• so as you can imagine, he casually asks them out, probably when they’re playing games together, and fully expects them to blush and confess that they play these games because they were too nervous to ask him out. so when he gets the response, “nah i prefer otome games” or whatever similar variant his darling said, he’s pretty confused. there’s literally a person that will pretty much live out their otome games in real life, and they reject that?. alfred will try to get it, he wouldn’t want the scenarios in some of the video games he plays to come to life either, but my man is just so confused.

• once america snaps out of his confusion, which may or may not last a couple weeks, he’s pretty quick to come to the conclusion he must has to show his darling how much they’d enjoy being in a relationship with him. he’ll drag them out of dates, proper dates that don’t take place in front of a screen, and try to act as romantic as possible, he probably should have gone to france for some advice but oh well. now from here there are two ways this could go, either they warm up to the idea of a relationship and everything goes well, or they’re still resistant, and insist on sticking to their dating simulator games, well, then america would feel forced to take drastic actions.

ENGLAND

• on the contrary, arthur is the yandere this darling should dread, he already isn’t fond of video games, seeing them as silly and childish, and for him to fall for someone so addicted to them they prefer it to real life?, arthur wouldn’t be able to decide whether he was angry or just plain disappointed. it frustrates him to no avail when he tries to become closer to his darling and all they seem to care about are the dating simulator games, there’s clearly a gentleman who wants to love them like the love interest in the games they play, what’s holding them back from him?.

• arthur figures out that they prefer simulators to a real relationship much faster than alfred, and at first he’s sympathetic that they’ve developed such an addiction. yes, he see’s it as addiction, and would treat it as such. acting as if they’re a child that eats too many sweets, he’d confiscate the devices they play the games on and force them to get some real human interaction. arthur would have his darling for morning and afternoon tea, reading sessions, he’d entertain them with his magic, attempting to introduce them to much more refined ways to spend their time, and would do it as politely as possible at first, thinking that if they make a positive connection to time with him it will be easier to get them to behave in the future.

• now again, i always imagine two ways things could go, there’s the option that england is successful in manipulating his darlings interest, and eventually maneuvering them into a relationship, but there’s also the likely possibility that they revert back to their otome games. this is where england will apply what I think can be described as ‘malicious compliance’ he’ll either kidnap or if they’re a country force them to move in with him, it’s a slight difference to kidnapping as they’d still have relative freedom, but they’d be forced to be playing otome games every minute of every day, held do their work, chores, and keep them locked in their room with only the gaming device available. too much of anything can be a bad thing, and england believes that he can tire them of the games eventually and get them begging him for human interaction, with enough patience.

GERMANY

• ludwig honestly doesn’t know why he fell for his darling, they’re his complete opposite!, spending all their days playing simulator games rather then getting out into the real world, i think after some reading up on their behaviour he’d start diagnosing them with some sort of mental illness, and take it upon himself to help them get better. maybe at first he wasn’t even yandere over them, they were simply a person he knew and their 'laziness’ got to him and before he knew it he was obsessed.

• as you can guess, he’d drag them out of their house to train with him each day, ignoring any complaints held be diligent in getting them out of their house. at this point ludwig doesn’t even know it’s dating simulators they prefer and just thinks they’re a really severe version of america. and he won’t be too communicative with them for a while either, so until he works the courage to ask them out up, he’d be under the impression that they were playing all minds of different video games, and that once he had helped them out of their 'mental illness’ he would have no troubles beginning a relationship with them. wrong, ludwig, wrong. when he eventually initiates a relationship, their rejection will leave him hurt and confused, they prefer simulator relationships over real ones?, ludwig knew his darling was a bit weird about video games, but this is just ridiculous.

• the only one that would go to someone for advice, italy or france, or one of the romance nations, who are probably also shocked, and tries to romance his darling as much as he can. germany’s the least likely to sway his darling in an ethical way, he’d most likely end up resorting to kidnapping or arranged marriage in they’re a country, how go to strategy for most darling types, and attempt to force them to try w relationship with him that way, whether he works is up to his darling, be beware that his patience whilst large, will eventually run thin.

RUSSIA

• when you first appraoched him, he was taken aback, typically it would be him to offer unsolicited proposals, although his were leaning more on becoming one literal country. ivan probably scooted away hurriedly, you were reminding him tom much of his sister for his taste. and if belarus heard what you had said, she’d be on his tail non stop for the next month.

• so he silently rejected you, leaving you in a state of embarrassment as you took in the dismissal. you’re relations with russia would be nonexistent from then, but you had intrigued the russian enough for him to keep an eye on you. and with each passing year, he became quite addicted to watching you go about your country business, never interveneing, just watching. ivan slowly began to attach to you, without having spoken a word to you since your first encounter. that attachment grew into admiration, and that admiration grew into love.

• he had already been regretting his decision to reject his darling all those years ago, and was contemplating ways in his free time to marry you. in a cruel twist of fate the exact meeting he had decided to ask you to become one with him, he walked in to finding you discussing marriage with another country. whether it be america, china or someone else, his blood is boiling, and he vows at that moment to ruin that country.

• russia’s boss won’t let him just declare war for no “good” reason, so he has to resort to attacking the personification. the next meeting your spouse-to-be doesn’t show up, then the next, and then the next, and then suddenly russia comes up to you, offering his hand in marriage.

• if you accept, then things will go smoothly, the country that went missing might show up again, eventually, but with no memory of where they were. however if you refuse, he won’t understand, if you wanted to marry him once, then you do now as well. nothing you say will sway him, he’ll go to your boss and pressure them into marrying you to him if you can’t be convinced yourself.

GERMANY

• at first ludwig thinks you’re playing a prank on him, and is quickly displeased with you’re unprofessionalism. he’s quick to dismiss you, sternly telling you that world meetings are important business, with no room for childish antics. but the heartbroken look on your face as observes you later on makes him feel slightly guilty, maybe you were being serious, but he had no time for marriages, especially with strangers.

• from then on he kept an eye on you, the marriage proposal lingering in his mind, confusion brewing, he constantly wonders if you truly wanted to marry him that day, or if it was what your boss told you to do, the internal conflict continued worsening and before he knew it, he had developed an obsession with you, a fixation that wouldn’t go away no matter what he tried.

• ludwig would find himself wondering how things would have been if he had accepted your proposal straight off the bat, and would fantasize on what would have been. but then he realises that it still can be, especially considering your national crisis. he’s quick to start reading up on how to court someone from then on, observing the romance nations methods of flirting, he truly thought he was prepared for anything.

• but what he wasn’t prepared for was to walk in, perfectly ironed suit and tie, to find his darling in a discussion with another nation about a marriage alliance. he probably interupts their conversation by standing there still in shock, excusing himself when he pulls himself together.

• whilst furiously jealous of the country you were to be wed to, he kept his calm, recognising that being reckless would only worsen things for him. he’d be tempted to revert back to his old ways, and destroy the other nation until there was nothing left of them but ash, but would instead choose to send in aid from his own country, under the guise of it being his responsibility to contribute to world stability. and you would end up annulling the alliance between you and the other country. if all went well he’d end up with a new spouse soon enough, and if not, then he’d end up with a new unwilling spouse, soon enough.

𝒴𝒜𝒩𝒟𝐸𝑅𝐸 𝒢𝐸𝑅𝑀𝒜𝒩𝒴 𝒳 𝒮𝒯𝒪𝐿𝐸𝒩 𝑅𝐸𝒜𝒟𝐸𝑅

• there are no words in the english language to describe lugwigs anger at being looked over for america, seriously, america?. he’d have understood if it was one of the romance nations, bar romano maybe, they have the suave and skills to charm pretty much anyone, but alfred is nothing but an oversized dog, and don’t get him wrong, he loves dogs, but it’s honestly appalling to ludwig.

• which is why, as much as he had wished to respect his darlings decision, he can’t help but meddle a bit, just push them in the right direction, show them the kind of person alfred ‘really is’. as mentioned before, framing him to look like a cheater would be his first move, hell he might try to get the american drunk enough so he actually cheats, but more likely he has to frame him. now if somehow that doesn’t work and you stay with him regardless or he is proven innocent, then that’s when ludwig has to step up his game.

• he’ll treat it like a war, calculating his every move carefully, studying you and what would horrify you the most, i think at this point his only limit is using animals to make alfred look like a horrible person. do you detest racists?, suddenly you’re hearing from other countries about 'horrible remarks’ he has said about them, murderers?, would you look at that he’s hidden a body in the basement, slobs?, you come home to a messier house as the days pass. ludwig strategy relies solely on turning you against him, maybe him against you as well. he may make it look like your unfaithful or disobediant, so ye can expose the worst of alfred’s yandere side.

• and then he’ll swoop in and 'save’ you, as your concerned friend who wants nothing but the best for you. germany will help you escape and offer to house you at his place until america calms down, if you accept his offer then great, he’ll slowly take over your life without you realising at all, if not, then it may become more apparent to you that you’ve stepped out of the pot of boiling water right into the fire.
