I bought mine for Php2,200(38$), It is pretty slow, slow boot up, slow everything. Can't even play simple games, like Roblox, ML.etc. It also freezes sometimes while using Chrome, Facebook, Youtube.. Rockchip RK3326S is a very stupid processor in 2023, I dont know why Blackview even consider making this garbage tablet with this processor. My Samsung Tablet manufactured in 2012 is much faster than this.
But if you consider the price, I think its pretty reasonable and also a WASTE!!. THIS NOT ADVISABLE TO BUY FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO PLAY GAMES, just put in a little bit of money, and go octa core processors.

cal67, 26 Aug 2023Installed Passmark Performance Test app and ran it twice. ... moreYea it's pretty slow by 2023 standard, having a low-clocked CPU with weak cores.

However, it's also ultra cheap (as low as $52), and has HD screen and 64GB of storage. Most alternatives in this price range have even worse hardware.

Installed Passmark Performance Test app and ran it twice. The best results were:
          System: 1085
          CPU: 806
          Memory: 4183
          Disc: 12889
          2D: 4607
          3D: 6487
As a frame of reference, this puts it about on a par with my Nexus 7, an 11 year old tablet that is obsolete

Teclast P80t can be had for even cheaper: $59 for 4+64GB variant.

            IPS HD screen (1280x800)
            Allwinner A133 12nm Cortex-A35
            4+64GB
            WiFi 6, USB-C
Android 12, global version with GMS and Play store preinstalled

Personally I'd go with the Teclast over this Blackview. Both are clearly better deals than the Fire HD 8 IMO.

However, the Fire HD 8 isn't exactly a good performer either. Amazon tabs are mostly used as content consumption devices. For browsing the web, reading e-books, watching movies and videos, this Blackview tab would work too, just slower. Also, it comes with Play store, no ads on the lock screen, and no blatant attempts to shove Prime content down users' throats. Last but not least, the Blackview is $30 cheaper.
