I want something with good display, better performance, and a better long lasting build ( I m not a camera person so whichever is fine) and also for the battery, if it lasts a full day of everyday use that's good.... I do play games though but not in the competitive level . So which one should I get..

Bo, 24 May 2024Maybe FE means top inside but cheaper outside? S-series is ... moreActually, FE monikor was first used with Note 7 when it had to be fitted with smaller battery, after the fire problem. It was a temporary name then. Then on, it kinda lost the main point it stood for.
S10FE was a heavier, bigger, cheaper version of S10.
S20FE was cheaper, but on the other hand, a better, faster Snapdragon version than S20.
Sometimes FE's have Snapdragon, sometimes Exynos. The combination is simply too random to identify any pattern.
Cheaper, yes, but why would you call it Fan Edition then? In fact, if anything, a fan should be ready to pay a premium!
Most A series phones are around 200gm+ of weight, while S series hovers around late 160's. Even otherwise, S is the premium experience, but yes, you're right, A series has come a long way.

This is a very weak comparison and reeks of protecting A55 and high prices that Samsung is making at present. GSMarena credibility is not reinforced by reviews like this.
S23FE have DeX, better video and many other conveniences.

If you plan to get the best hardware for the lowest price possible, Samsung usually ranks last as good value is never its expertise. And its lower end device like A25 still comes with super dated thick bezels while the entry models of other Chinese brands even look and feel better. If you are planning to save yet not wanting to sacrifice a whole lot on hardware, I would recommend Poco X6 Pro, it packs so much new technology and strong processing power although the cameras of the A55 should be better.

Why such a curtailed & incomplete comparison?
What about the Wireless Charging + Reverse Wireless Charging on the S23FE?
IP67 (A55) v/s IP68 (S23 FE)
DeX support on the S23 FE
1450 nits peak brightness on the S23 FE.
All of that is surely worth a few bucks more. The A55 is just not VFM!

I've been using the A50s since 2019, lookin for an upgrade, can't decide if I should go for higher range like S series (years later since need to save money) or the A55. I value gaming and camera a lot. Any tips please?

S23 FE has a Dynamic Amoled, not Super. Dynamic offers far better quality. This alone makes the difference.

And A55's vapor chamber do not cover the entire motherboard. See pbkreviews disassembly.

S2xFE vs A series, an unlikely comparison? Well, I've been asking the same question for years.
FE series (which started with Note 7) is just another name for confused branding. And I know its Fan Edition, but no one particularly knows what it should mean for the phone specs.
We only know it stands for a cheaper S model, with randomly different cameras and chipsets, sometimes they're better, sometimes worse.
How is that a certain S20 FE proved to better than their A series phones, even when A series was more expensive back then? Don't ask me. Do I look like I got a clue?

A55 has ... moreit's no surprise that the A55 has "better cooling" because they cover the entire motherboard with sheet of copper. but still, not ideal for tropical environment. instead getting the full power of the cpu, it underclocks to hide the weakness as well.
