December 31, 2023I enjoy that the Sim Pure HP8 is so quiet on each Three speeds. I have included photos to show the display panel’s Modes and how much the filter has filled up in approximately two weeks of use. I have a very dusty OLD carpet in my apartment, which I’m working on unmatting (with a Carpet brush) so I can vacuum it to my standards. I went without a vacuum (finances) for too long, and have low back issues. ~ I’m including photos to shoe the display panel and of the filter’s debris after two weeks of use sitting on a board, raising it up from direct carpet contact. Also a photo of the availability and cost of a compatible replacement filter for Sim Pure’s HP8 Model. ~ Sim Pure states to set the Purifier on a balanced flat surface. ~ I hope this helps 😃
Really excellent quality

January 4, 2021I purchased this about three weeks ago. I also purchased an air quality sensor so I could monitor my indoor air quality. The SimPure is a nice looking unit and works really well. I like that it has four (4) filters all in one. It makes it very easy to change out when the time comes. The fit and finish is excellent. The fan is quiet. I use this unit for my about 800SF great room. With the fan on low speed, I cannot hear it running. On medium, I really have to listen hard to hear it. I can hear it running on high but it's just not an issue. I don't have to increase the volume on my TV if it is running on high. I also purchased an air quality monitor. 0 to 50 ppm is really good air quality. This air purifier keeps my ppm at 3. That is exactly to the unit's specs. Last week I fried scallops for dinner and purposely DID NOT turn on the stove exhaust fan. After dinner, I turned on the air quality sensor and the ppm was over 1300. I turned on my SimPure on high and within about 35 minutes, the ppm dropped back to 3. Two days ago, I fried more scallops and turned on my stove top vent fan. After dinner, the ppm was over 300. I turned on my Simpure and within about 30 minutes, the ppm dropped to 3. During the day time when we are living in our great room we usually leave our SimPure on either low or medium. This unit is also pretty inexpensive to run. On high it uses 46 watts, on medium it uses 36 watts and on low, it uses 28 watts. For most people in the USA, it will cost about 5 cents a day to run for 12 hours on medium speed. I have a vacuum with a HEPA filter and a very soft brush attachment. I suspect that if I lightly vacuum both sides of the SimPure filter once a month, I can extend the filter for a year of use. I live in the NW USA and I sure wished that I had had this unit this summer when we had so much smoke from the forest fires. One last thing I'd like to mention. Before buying this unit, I emailed the seller with a question and he quickly responded. I really appreciated his fast service. The SimPure HP8 sure seems like an excellent value to me!

December 8, 2020This purifier hardly even sounds like it's on! Of course that means that if you were hoping this would double as a noise maker, you're out of luck. For the rest of us, however, it's amazing how quiet it is while still pushing out a decent amount of air. I'm no biologist, so I can't offer scientific data on how well it works--maybe the whole thing is a placebo, but I feel calmer and more relaxed when this thing is on. When I was fighting off some fatigue and potential illness, I turned it on and went to sleep, waking up feeling rested and so much better. The slick touch controls are discrete so that your baby or toddler isn't pressing buttons all day. It's a slim design that fits in any space and keeps a modern look. The filter is easy to replace (though I haven't yet had to), and the whole thing is really well put together. It's an excellent product.

January 27, 2021This purifier is good so far. I also purchased 2 other different kinds and ended up putting this one in my living room. It's an open plan that connects to kitchen dining and hallway. It's a decent size area (for an apartment) but it seems to clear the air pretty well. I have 3 cats and and 2 litter boxes so before this thing my apt always stunk of.. catness. Ew. I have it on 24.7 on low so I am unsure about sleep mode. Had to use high setting a few times when coming back from trips and cat smell was bad. It freshened the place up fast. Doesn't seem too loud to me. Kinda wish it had the quality of air lights like one of my other ones have but it's not a huge deal. When I checked, filter replacements were pretty pricey but this was the best deal I found that had good area coverage and CADR ratings. Not really looking forward to filter replacements but overall I am happy with this purchase
