The unit was easy to install and works well on demand (only when water is running) with an exterior led "on" indicator. I paired it with a .5 micron charcoal filter inline. The LEDs are rated for 7000 hours with a limited lifetime warranty which I registered online. I plan to install another on the second floor bathroom sink when HD has it back in stock.

Added the unit to my existing filtering system. No problems.
