Machine Gun Kelly is putting a ring on it.

The musician, né Colson Baker, confirmed on Instagram that he proposed to actor Megan Fox. "Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me," he wrote in a caption alongside a video of Fox wearing her engagement ring.

Baker designed the ring with renowned jeweler Stephen Webster. It's embedded with meaning—he opted for a two-stone piece that features her birthstone of an emerald and his birthstone, a diamond. They're interwoven together with double twisting bands "that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love," he continued.

Webster tells Vogue that he was struck by Baker's romanticism. "He wanted something that was completely original and meaningful to both Megan and himself. He fed me lots of material in an almost lyrical form. I used this to create the two rings which become one. I used magnets embedded in the gold to attract the two rings together when worn as one. Possibly the most romantic story I have had to work with," he said.

Meanwhile, Fox shared an intimate video of their proposal on her own social media. It shows Baker getting down on one knee under a Banyan tree, and Fox wiping away tears as she accepts. She matched her husband's impassioned description of the affair, structuring her caption in a poem-like format: "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma," she wrote. "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes."

Many celebrities voiced their congratulations in the comments, including Kim Kardashian and Travis Barker.
